Trump Brings the Fire in Powerful Rally in Texas
President Donald held a “Save America” rally in Conroe, Texas, on Saturday.
He was preceded by other speakers including Texas state Attorney General Ken Paxton, who noted what great success his state has been having against the Biden mandates.
When Trump took the stage, he called out what a massive crowd it was.
Trump seemed in great form, with a lot of energy. Nine months from now, the people are going to send a message to the radical Democrats in D.C., Trump said, talking about the midterm elections. He praised Texas for being about family, freedom, God, and country. “And oil and guns,” he added with a smile, to great cheers. “Don’t mess with Texas,” Trump thundered, “because Texas is never, ever turning blue.”
Trump also hit on some of the news items of the day.
Trump gave a shout-out to the “brave” Canadian truckers resisting mandates, saying he wanted them to know that they were doing more than American leaders, and “we are with them all the way.”
He also covered how so many are talking about Ukraine’s border. Biden’s deputy national security adviser said that their border should be inviolate. But they’re not talking about the most important border — our border — Trump said.
“The first duty of the American president is to defend the American border,” Trump declared. “Before Joe Biden sends troops to defend borders in Eastern Europe, he should send troops to defend the border right here in Texas.”
Trump said we used to have “peace through strength as the great Ronald Reagan would say,” but not under Biden. Trump noted that the Ukrainian president even had to tell Biden to “calm down” with how he was hyping a potential invasion.
“They send young Americans to fight and die for the borders of distant foreign nations while they throw our borders open to illegal foreign invasion,” Trump said, while blasting the swamp.
“We fight for other borders but we don’t fight for our own. They torture your children with masks in school while they host parties with unmasked donors in New York, San Francisco, and Washington, D.C. They restrict your freedom and lock you in your home, while they release thousands of da-really dangerous- murderers. Dangerous, criminal murderers. They release them from jail. They drive up the price of your energy for your family, while they are shuttled around in limos and airplanes on American taxpayer dollars. They censor, cancel and persecute ordinary citizens for speaking the truth.”
Trump took up the defense of OAN, which is being cut off from broadcast by DirecTV — a situation he also brought up about two weeks ago in his Florence, Arizona, speech.
He also said that he was going to ensure that Jan. 6 defendants were treated fairly, and pardoned if not if he were to run and win the White House again.
“Biden has the real scandals,” he continued, “and rest assured when Republicans retake Congress the Biden corruption will be investigated and exposed by Congress.
“But we no longer have a free and fair press. If we did, all of this would end; it wouldn’t be there.” [….]
“We’re just nine months away from what could be the most important midterm victory in all of American history,”
Trump promised that we were going to defeat the Democrats — in 2022 and 2024.
“We are going to start by ending Nancy Pelosi’s political career once and for all. And then, we’re going to kick the Biden crime family out of the White House in 2024!” he said.
