THE WAY I SEE IT by Don Polson Red Bluff Daily News 6/22/2021
On
choosing, believing delusions, lies
The progressive left—or
“American Marxism” as Mark Levin’s upcoming book title aptly labels it—has nudged,
pushed and bullied its way into a position of leadership and control. While
there remain many Democrats-in-name-only—legacy voters following their
forebears who believed with a near-religious faith in the superiority of
Democrat programs and policies—the shades are falling from the tunnel-visioned,
cult-like allegiance to the delusions and lies that drive the leftist
narratives.
Please continue reading;
try to allow the rational side of your brain to process the facts that now
present themselves, beyond dispute. America now has an executive leader, Joe
Biden, who cannot express a rational thought that isn’t scrolled on his teleprompter
or printed in “bullet points” (too firearms-related?) on a card titled “The
President.” His “press conferences” are staged-for-media events with a preference
for pre-selected reporters giving Biden staged questions for which said bullet
points contain answers for him.
Biden’s off-the-cuff
cracks induced a question first ignored, and then obfuscated and subjected to disjointed
rhetoric: “In a weekend interview, Vladimir Putin laughed at the suggestion
that you had called him a ‘killer.’ Is that still your belief, sir, that he is
a killer?” CNN reporter Jeff Zeleny asked.
Here is Biden’s answer
verbatim from the official White House transcript: THE PRESIDENT: (Laughs.) “To
answer the first question — (laughs) — I’m laughing too. They actually — I —"
Q : “So he is a killer?”
THE PRESIDENT: “Well, look, I mean, he has made clear that — the answer is: I believe he has, in the past, essentially acknowledged that he was — there were certain things that he would do or did do. But look, when I was asked that question on air, I answered it honestly. But it’s not much of a — I don’t think it matters a whole lot, in terms of this next meeting we’re about to have.”
Huh? By the end of that
meandering non-answer, Biden had forgotten the second question.
Try to follow additional
lies and delusions—for which, if your response is disbelief, you need deprogramming
from the nonstop bilge of falsehoods from CNN, MSNBC, the networks, progressive
propaganda outlets, Twitter and Facebook.
Fallaciousness is blithely
peddled to discredit and demonize opponents—without once addressing the merits
of their arguments—and to provide the faithful with fiery, hateful rhetoric in
that cause. Read slowly: It is neither hateful or inflammatory to point out factual
refutations.
On the G7 (or 9) world
stage, Biden lied about the overwhelmingly peaceful Jan. 6 rally in support of
President Trump, claiming that the rioters all broke through cordons (some did
not, based on recordings) and killed officer Brian Sicknick (died of natural causes): “for literally criminals to break
through a cordon…kill a police officer, and be held unaccountable…”
Federal charges have
been mostly dropped against the “antifa-blm-ers” that attacked, injured and
killed hundreds of police and civilians, and burned many hundreds of businesses
in Minneapolis alone. If it’s not “insurrection” to burn and destroy precinct
stations with police inside, I don’t know what it is.
Yet, the only
firearms-related charge against a 1/06 protester (until proven otherwise,
right?) is for having brought into D.C. a legally disassembled handgun, left in
car. All are held, in solitary confinement, without bail and under gag orders,
for hundreds of days for no logical reason beyond providing a strawman falsehood
about the supposed threat to our Republic by (provably not) white supremacists.
Unsurprisingly, polling
by Rasmussen Reports found majorities of voters that had two choices, rated Biden’s
G7 performance “unsuccessful,” “fair to poor” but better than Trump by 44 to 43
percent, “Three years ago, 47% of voters rated (Trump’s) handling of foreign policy
“excellent or good” while only 42% so rate Biden now.
“Juneteenth” should be
celebrated by acknowledging that a Republican President Lincoln, with an army
serving Lincoln’s Republican crusade to free all slaves, extended the
Republican mandate via martial order to the last slave-owning holdouts in Texas,
many of whose slaves were moved from Democrat slave states upon Union conquest.
Over 10,000
slaveholders in the South were Black; the Reconstruction era was hindered by
slavery-sympathizing President Johnson (incumbent upon Lincoln’s assassination
by Democrat terrorist John Wilkes Booth). Democrat strongholds formed the Ku
Klux Klan to terrorize Republican-voting African-Americans, obstruct said voting,
firearm possession and other rights by Blacks up until Republican support
forced the end of Democrat filibusters against Civil Rights laws in the 1960s.
It’s a lie that
Republican efforts to eliminate fraud, dead, moved and multiple-voting
Democrats from rolls, “Voter Integrity,” is voter suppression. Biden promoted
that lie in service to giving vote fraud legality.
Doubters of my factual assertions
should simply consider that if your “news” and opinion sources have been
consistently and repeatedly wrong—while never admitting error—about Trump for
over 5 years, their credibility is shot. Accept your delusions for what they’ve
been and deny them their undeserved belief.
Trump never ordered “peaceful”
(they were violent and injured many Park Police and Secret Service) “protesters”
evicted from Lafayette Park for a “photo op” (Interior Dept. Inspector General).
Look up “Punctured tale of Trump’s photo op may live on as media myth,” 6/15.
