America’s evil empire and supporters

We watched “The Mandalorian” spinoff to the “Star Wars” franchise, and re-watched the first Star Wars movie, “A New Hope.” One month of high-priced streaming service Hulu+ (ESPN and Disney)—to watch my favorite sport, the college bowl and championship games which used to be free—lets us peruse streaming movies.

In one Mandalorian episode, an Imperial (the evil Empire) officer praises the sacrifice of thousands of troopers under his command to impose “order” on subjects whose allegiance is being contested by the Rebel Alliance. Challenged by a trooper who survived, he’s asked if the subjects’ loss of freedom was justified; the officer insisted that what the Empire offered—imposed more accurately—was “order, the people prefer order to freedom.” Lesson?

“A New Hope” has aged well; the elements of what was, to me, the greatest-movie-ever remain gripping, tense and inspiring. The final destruction of the Empire’s “Death Star,” whose evil had been graphically established by the destruction of the earth-like planet Alderaan—just to give a lesson to others leaning toward the Alliance—remains one of the greatest good-defeating-evil, stand-up-and-cheer moments in film history.

What you see depends, as they say, on where you stand. I see much of the evil Empire in the despotic behemoth of federal and state governments that have chosen to impose “order,” or rather their arbitrary orders, upon otherwise free citizens: “Show me your papers,” formerly an “end of discussion” when asking for proof of legal residence or voter ID, is now demanded for personal health “passports” to fly, dine, enter public buildings or access the education you’ve already paid for. Church services needed state approval.

Relatives are urged to do likewise before allowing visitors in long-cherished family gatherings. Wisdom used to guide those with colds to not spread infection; now “science” supposedly mandates “proof” of safety.

“Innocent until proven guilty”? No more; you’re considered a contaminant and forced to place a largely symbolic piece of cloth on your face. Your freely-expressed opinions on various issues, going as far back as those seeking to destroy, or “cancel” you, wish to go—are subject to “fact checking.” That’s often simply forced conformity with what relatively uneducated “woke-sters” in basements wearing undies consider to be the delivered wisdom their “progressive” thought-leaders tell them.

My (hopefully) final thoughts on the violence at the Capitol on 1/06/2021 are informed not by ideological myths but by dozens of analyses, facts, history, polling and knowing what the Democrat/media cabal is trying to do: Demonize, denigrate and politically cancel an entire movement representing half of the electorate. We’re neither found, nor acknowledged, in the circles of power and influence in Washington, New York, Sacramento, LA/Hollywood and the federal agencies of regulatory and law-enforcement control.

The progressive left’s hysterical charges of “fascism” and “voter suppression,” even on this page, are simply projection of the left’s own authoritarianism to cancel our voting preferences. Together with polling results, it’s clear that majorities (that’s “democracy,” right?) never supported gay marriage, unrestricted abortion, open borders and illegal immigration, denigration of America in schools, defunding police, de-incarceration of criminals, imposed masks and distancing except when protesting for “racial justice,” and economic, business “lockdowns” that destroy livelihoods and jobs over COVID.

CBS polling found “Most Americans of both parties think Jan. 6 was ‘a protest that went too far’” (Daily Wire). CBS chose to ignore that result so they could focus on inflammatory polling results more critical of the events. Most Americans tuned out the nauseatingly one-sided, over-the-top coverage of the Pelosi/Biden/Liz Cheney hysteria.

58 percent of Republicans don’t believe Joe Biden was elected legitimately, including this writer. Unconstitutional voting rules were implemented by judges, health authorities, governors and lawyers, including nearly 70 million non-legal “mail-in” ballots subject to illegal vote-harvesting and “helpers” for seniors. The final straw proving it to me has been the stone-walling and “kicking and screaming” refusal by “blue state” counties to allow forensic examination of materials and machines. They’ve got plenty of cheating to hide; we know it.

Don’t dispute me unless you condemn and demand retraction from the Democrats’ that never accepted Donald Trump’s win in 2016, George Bush’s win in 2000, Stacey Abrams loss in Georgia, etc. Every illegally cast vote “suppresses” a legal vote. Mandate voter ID, no mail-in voting, no drop boxes, and no funding by rich gazillionaires like the $500 million from Zuckerberg that financed Democrat-only voter turnout in unregulated Democrat jurisdictions.

 You “J6” fanatics: admit that the 2020 riots (if antifa’s violent assault on police and federal buildings wasn’t “insurrection,” nothing is) had 15 times more police officers injured, 23 times as many arrests and 1,300 times more damage than 1/06/2021 (realclearinvestigations.com). Admit no insurrection, sedition or treason occurred—charges would have been filed if there were.

Final fun facts: 1) One person, Dem. Speaker Nancy Pelosi, said no to President Donald Trump’s offer of National Guard troops for security. More security=no incursion into the Capitol. 2) “8 Times Left-Wing Protesters Broke Into Government Buildings And Assaulted Democracy” by Kylee Zempel: “Left-wing demonstrators have long made a habit of attacking, infiltrating, and occupying government buildings.” Donald, Melania and Barron Trump were moved into the bunker in June, 2020 when George Floyd “protestors” (rioters) breached barricades at the White House;

3) In 2011, thousands of “protestors” occupied the Wisconsin state Capitol to obstruct Gov. Scott Walker’s government, damaging everything. 4) Portland Federal Courthouse, assaulted and burned by antifa/BLM-ers. 5+) Pro-abortion mobs interfered with the Texas Senate in 2013, grinding it to a halt; and forced their way past/breaching, police lines, storming the U.S. Senate and Supreme Court over the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh and their fanatical devotion to baby-killing.

In 1983, left-wing extremists planted a bomb outside the Senate chamber inside the U.S. Capitol, causing $1 million in damages (dwarfing current value of J6 rioters’ damage).
