Racist,
baby-killing, anti-Jew Dems
The
State of the Union: Widespread incivility and ideological war, a disunited
nation that needs one side to win and dominate to preserve the union. To wit, “A
nation divided cannot stand.” To anyone that might have in times past
considered themselves—or maybe still do—to be a moderate, America-cherishing, Republican-accepting
Democrat, I offer an olive branch. “Can’t we all just get along?
First,
however, there must be a common acceptance of the idea that America’s
divisions, hatred and intolerance have existed and grown for most of my adult life.
Heck, America hardly invented partisan passions and political power struggles.
They have been a source of friction throughout civilization, held in check, for
the most part, by governments that exercised central power by a sovereign or
dominant group.
America’s
very formation and chosen Constitutional order of self-governance reflected the
then-growing demand by those ruled to participate in the decisions imposed upon
them. Our Framers went to great lengths to “constitute” our government so as to
prevent powerful “factions” from dominating others, as has evolved in our two-party
system where the winners seek all power.
Consider
the words of Jonathan Turley, of George Washington University (and furthest
from an intemperate partisan as you could find) in “Donald Trump is completely
transforming the Democrats” (USA Today, 12/29/18): “Washington has long been a
stranger to principle other than the principle of self advancement. Yet
something new seems to be emerging across the country. Politicians have long
felt the need to disguise raw political agendas in the pretense of principle.
That pretense has disappeared.
“In
this age of rage, voters seem to have no patience, let alone need, for leaders
speaking of abstract principles. They want immediate unequivocal action in supporting
or opposing President Trump. For Democrats, that all consuming purpose has led
to the abandonment of core unifying values, including many that first drew me
to the Democratic Party. While they would vehemently deny it, Trump is remaking
the party in his inverse image.”
I
see it more as Trump taking the raw, partisan “Rules for Radicals,” that have
guided progressive Democratic strategy and tactics for decades, and turning it against
them. President Donald Trump may have learned lessons from California’s H.L.
Richardson, who wrote “Confrontational Politics,” a relatively short book that
diagnosed the leftist tactics of aggressive confrontation to mercilessly
advance their causes. Our side, the conservative plurality, has been guided by
a reluctance to meet such hard-charging tactics in kind, preferring to trust
the merit of our principles and ideology to carry public opinion and elections.
The
advancement, the virtual march, of leftist positions and causes through the educational
world, the arts, entertainment and legal realms, has supported the political
fortunes of liberalism in electoral politics. Those gains have then spurred the
growth of leftism in permanent bureaucracies and in the judiciary; the
so-called “deep state” and the robed near-despotism of unelected judges.
How
is it other than racist for the rise of blatantly anti-Caucasian philosophies
of “white privilege” as a means of denigrating and marginalizing the role of
white men primarily, nearly insisting that “white’s not alright”? How else to
characterize the blatant anti-Asian-American bias in higher education? Ivy League
schools like Harvard manipulate their admissions guidelines to de-emphasize academic
achievement and other objective personal accomplishments, where Asian-Americans
excel; they then give excessive weight to nebulous, subjective qualities like
life challenges overcome and personality (favoring minorities).
That
sort of race-based preferences could not survive without left-leaning federal
agencies and ideologically-driven judges steeped in “critical race” theories. Reverse
racism then abounds in secondary schools when disciplinary standards—driven
most recently by Obama DOE “disparate impact” guidance letters—demanded that punishment
for misbehavior be matched to racial quotas. Objective studies, and anecdotal
reports from students and faculty, found that classroom discipline declined,
taking academic advancement with it, as teachers and administrators simply
allowed misbehavior, to avoid DOE sanctions.
Remember
this when being lectured by leftist Democrats, apparently oblivious to the
history of their party—from Copperhead anti-Lincoln origins in the Northern
States (effectively pro-slavery partisans), to segregationist, voting-rights-suppressing
Ku Klux Klansmen, to anti-lynching law opponents, to Civil Rights Act filibustering
racist Senators.
Never
forget that Planned Parenthood originated under Margaret Sanger, who stated
that one purpose of abortion was to reduce the birthrates of what to her were
less desirable “Negro” mothers. Look it up. That takes us full circle to the
current baby-killing legal push for “abortion” up to the moment of birth, disproportionately
reducing African-American “pregnancy products.” Mass-murdering abortionist
Kermit Gosnell of the abhorrent Philadelphia clinics, err slaughterhouses, was
only ahead of his times if current New York and Virginia Democrats are to be
taken seriously.
One
belief of current Congressional Democrats is a thinly-veiled acceptance of “destroy
Israel from the Earth” policies, ultimately preferring Palestinian dominance
through the despicable “Boycott, Divest and Sanction” movement. Once confined
to loony college splinter groups, it now seeks respectability via not only
elected Muslim Democrats in Congress, but in progressive managers of university
funds and public employee retirement accounts. They can’t be both pro-Jew and anti-Israel.
Turley
rightly points to the Trump-driven Democrat turnabouts: Then, the “Red Scare” was
bad because Russian Communism, well, wasn’t; now, evil intent alone accounts
for Trump/Russia (fictional) collusion that stole the election from Hillary. Then,
Middle East wars started by the Bushes were to be stopped and/or ended; now,
Trump is appalling for wanting to withdraw from Syria and Afghanistan.
“Democrats
once were the party that fought against the misuse of secret classification
laws by the FBI and other agencies. They demanded greater transparency from the
executive branch…” Now, Democrats have condemned Republicans for seeking FISA
documents behind the FBI investigation of Trump et al. Seeking disclosures, i.e.
transparency, is now evidence of nearly treasonous undermining of law
enforcement. If they didn’t have double standards, they’d have no standards at
all.
