“Nobody wants to ban your guns,” the liberals lie. “And you are nuts for believing we do even when we say we do.” Call it “gunlighting,” the new tactic in which anti-gun freedom fascists try to “gaslight” normal Americans into thinking they are crazy for believing what the libfascists are actually saying about banning guns.
No, these are the droids we are looking for, and we know you goose-stepping creeps would love to see us disarmed and at your mercy, stripped of the lead veto our Founding Fathers had the wisdom to assure us for the time aspiring dictators like you showed up. You can call us crazy, but we aren’t fooled.
When Obama and Hillary start babbling about Australia, what they are talking about is the confiscation of our guns. Not a voluntary buy-back. Not “common sense safety rules.” Confiscation. And if you listen to prominent liberals like the editor of the Washington Post editorial page when he’s safely inside the liberal bubble where normal Americans won’t see it, he’ll admit it. A total ban on guns is their goal.
But outside the bubble, they lie. “No one wants your guns,” they sniff, as if the Constitution gives them a vote and as if we retain our arms only because they deign to allow it. Let’s leave aside the logistical difficulties with disarming a bunch of armed and pissed off Americans – don’t look for the affluent, icy harridans of Everytown to suit up their special snowflakes Caden and Cassidy in Kevlar and send them from their Connecticut suburbs out into West Texas to kick in some doors and do the dirty work of making their anti-gun fantasies a reality. Liberals do want our guns. But since they won’t dare try and take them, they have to convince us to give them up voluntarily. Hence the gunlighting.
Gunlighting supports their strategy of frog-boiling – raising the temperature via regulation very slowly so that by the time we realize it’s too hot, we can’t jump out of the pot. That’s why they try to go at the issue from the flanks by pushing bogus “common sense reforms” designed to appeal to people who really aren’t thinking about the issue. They are driven to gunlight us because our defiance gnaws at them, and the knowledge that at some point normal Americans can slap in a mag and say “Enough” to the tyrannical elites terrifies them.
You’re not crazy for thinking that everything liberals say about guns is a lie. You’re not crazy when you see Obama and Hillary say they support the Second Amendment out of one side of their mouths and that they support the Australian option out of the other. This talk of Australia is code, a dog whistle that signals to their core followers their long-term goal, that pokes at us free Americans in the hopes we overreact, and that sails over the heads of many Americans who aren’t paying attention yet. You know no mainstream media hack will ever call them on it, so it’s up to us.
You’re not crazy for noticing how they talk about mental health as if the real problem is law-abiding Americans safely owning weapons. We all know that the real problem is liberal laws that let lunatics wander the street. And it’s not nuts to think liberals would happily expand “mental health disqualifications” to cover anyone “crazy” enough to own a gun.
You’re not crazy for asking why the government should be allowed a “pocket veto” via background checks by simply choosing not to do them. Right now, the government has 72 hours to articulate a reason why you should be denied your Constitutional right to keep and bear arms. Liberals want remove any time limit, allowing the government to effectively ban gun sales by choosing not to process any background checks. You’re not crazy for remembering that Obama simply refused to follow immigration laws he didn’t like, or that he turned the IRS on his political opponents.
You’re not crazy for thinking liberals are either ignorant or liars – or both – when they talk about background checks as if none exist. No, you don’t need a background check to get a .308 as a present from your dad or buy it from neighbor in-state, and you shouldn’t. Of course, it’s still a crime to gift or privately sell a gun to someone disqualified from owning one.
You’re not crazy for thinking that the idea of lifting liability protection from frivolous lawsuits against gun makers is just a scam. It’s designed to let Democrat-donating trial lawyers sue the gun industry into oblivion and obtain a halt to gun sales via malicious lawsuits what they can’t through democracy.
You’re not crazy for doubting liberals when they moan about urban crime, as if the inner cities weren’t petri dishes in an experiment in Democrat rule that has proven an utter and complete failure. You always hear from these liberals about how their voters are “victimized” by localities outside the gun-banning liberal big cities that sell weapons. So why don’t the liberals ever explain how come those outside localities that supposedly sell all the guns to the gangbanging Democrats are never war-torn and violent like the liberal inner cities?
You’re not crazy when you get steamed hearing about how we don’t care about children. Of course, when many of us were protecting children (at some risk to our own lives) overseas in uniform or here at home in law enforcement, these hypocritical progressive wusses were nowhere in sight. They were safe in their comfortable homes, protected by men and women like us armed with guns, lying about us.
You’re not crazy for calling the media on its “conservative killers” meme. We’ll just keep waiting for one of these psychos to turn out to be an NRA member or a Tea Partier. In reality, these killers always seem to be Obama voters, flag burners, Christian haters and/or racial/sexual grievance mongers – in other words, perfect potential delegates to the Democratic National Convention.
You’re not crazy for laughing when the media trots out the ever-popular alienated gun owner editorial, usually headlined something like, “I own a gun and the NRA doesn’t speak for me!” Well, if you don’t believe in the Second Amendment, then the NRA certainly does not speak for you, whether or not you have an unused 20 gauge your grandfather left you gathering dust in the attic. But the NRA sure as hell speaks for the rest of us – and you should join it today.
The gunlighting phenomenon is nothing new. Obama was always for gay marriage, but he flat out lied about it until it was a done deal. Go ask your new doctor if Obama lied about Obamacare. Ask a crucified Syrian or Iraqi Christian how good Obama’s word is.
You’re not crazy for feeling that you are being bombarded by lies. This is just more liberal taqiya, the notion that it’s perfectly fine to lie to normal Americans about liberal goals in order to enslave them. Only this time, Americans aren’t crazy enough to fall for it.
