in Obama Administration Scandals
Michael Ramirez finds that a number of stories involving the Obama administration have something important in common. I have been following these stories somewhat obsessively, so this cartoon hits home with me.
It puts me in mind of the famous Epimenides paradox. Epimenides the Cretan is reputed to have said: “All Cretans are liars.” In the case of Ramirez cartoon, however, there is no paradox. Ramirez is an outsider to the Obama administration and his cartoon depends only on his usual close observation.
