'Bikers for Trump’ Show up Outside DNC With Not-So-Subtle Message for Trump-Bashing Dems: ‘Wisconsin Ain’t Theirs’
As Democrat National Convention speakers continued their Trump-bashing onslaught on Wednesday, hundreds of members of the motorcycle organization “Bikers for Trump” stopped by for a visit.
The group arrived at the DNC security perimeter on Wednesday to demonstrate that, despite the anti-Trumps goings-on inside the Wisconsin Center in Milwaukee, the President still has plenty of support in the state, as reported by Newsweek.
In addition to singing the national anthem and reciting the Pledge of Allegiance, the pro-Trump motorcyclists had a not-so-subtle message for the TDS-riddle Democrats inside the arena: “Wisconsin ain’t theirs.”
Biker Jimmy Dean Mead told NBC News affiliate TMJ4 the group isn’t all that concerned about the Democrat Convention but decided to show up to demonstrate their support for Trump.
“They come into Milwaukee, which is fine. That’s their prerogative. They’re having their convention, it’s not a big deal […] but we want to show support for our President. We don’t want them to think that because they have their convention here, that they took Wisconsin. Wisconsin ain’t theirs, it’s ours.”
Bikers for Trump founder Chris Cox told Fox News reporter Vince Tobin the group wasn’t in Milwaukee to “poke the bear, but we’re here to keep an eye on things.”
Tobin asked Cox why the group didn’t wait until next week’s Republican convention to show support for the President.
“I can’t remember the Democrats giving an inch and any direction. Why would we?” Cox responded.
Cox also took a clear shot at BLM and the continuing riots.
“We’re not here to shout. You will never see a biker lighting a pharmacy on fire, looting a sneaker store, calling for the death and destruction of private property and police officers. We are here to stand with law enforcement, to stand with our servicemen and women, not only active duty, but the veterans and to support our president.”
Former Wisconsin Governor and 2016 presidential candidate Scott Walker showed up for the Bikers for Trump arrival, and proudly showed off the patch the group gave him.
Bikers for Trump members also attended the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota, last week, as reported by the Associated Press, where Cox told a crowd that while “wearing T-shirts” and “waving flags” in support of Trump is fine, the bottom line is all about showing up to vote.
With an obvious nod to the 2016 election, when wins in the key battleground states of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania propelled Trump to the White House, Cox said:
“If you live in Wisconsin, North Carolina, Arizona, Ohio, Pennsylvania or Florida the campaign needs you to double-down because those are the states that we need to carry this thing. A lot of people want to participate, wearing T-shirts or maybe waving flags. But the only way to really raise the bar and move the needle is to identify people who otherwise don’t vote and get them to vote.”
Meanwhile, the Democrats’ Trump-trashing extravaganza in Milwaukee ends Thursday evening, when 77-year-old Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. successfully ends his 42-year quest for the Democrat Party presidential nomination.
The question is, will he be up to the task if he wins?
Incidentally, if you missed the Republican destruction of Bill Clinton over his tone-deaf lecture to Donald Trump about how presidents are supposed to use the Oval Office, check out my Wednesday piece:
