Many things and events gain clarity upon the passage of time. We’ve also seen movies where the same event is told through the views and experiences of different participants. The 1950 Akira Kurosawa-directed “Rashomon” set the standard as a brutal murder is recounted by various participant/observers, all presenting their own role, idealized by lying.

The attempted assassination of Republican Congressmen at a baseball practice in Virginia in 2017 fueled conclusion-jumping by the usual media and political hacks. They were eager to frame it in preferred narratives: a nutjob enabled by lax gun laws, acting out delusions of suicidal violence.

The truthful counter-narrative was quickly evident: James Hodgkinson, “an avid liberal and supporter of Democratic presidential primary candidate and Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders,” brought firepower and a list of Republicans, and confirmed that Republicans were attending by asking Jeff Duncan as he left. Rep. Steve Scalise suffered traumatic injuries, and nearly died; only due to the armed (and injured) Capitol Police detail was a slaughter avoided.

“He had posted on Facebook that ‘Trump is a Traitor. Trump Has Destroyed Our Democracy. It's Time to Destroy Trump & Co.’ and joined other groups such as ‘Terminate The Republican Party’ and ‘Join The Resistance Worldwide!!’” (Jerry Dunleavy, Washington Examiner, 5/15) That his acts and motivations were domestic, political terrorism was obvious. Were the parties switched, and a similarly motivated, deranged hater of Barack Obama shot Democrats, it would have been an easy call.

The politically-tinged FBI analysis downplayed the partisan motivations of Hodgkinson and concluded “suicide by cop.” In a Friday, May 14, news dump—in the middle of a pipeline outage, gas shortages, inflation rearing up, and Israel’s war with Hamas—the FBI quietly reversed that narrative and admitted that it was an act of “domestic terrorism,” carried out by a “domestic violent extremist,” James Hodgkinson.

That admission was buried “in the middle of an appendix on page 35 of a 40-page FBI-DHS report titled ‘Security Strategic Intelligence Assessment and Data on Domestic Terrorism.’” Among 85 different “FBI-Designated Significant Domestic Terrorism Incidents…” left-wing, politically-motivated, progressive Trump/Republican-hating wannabe-assassin James Hodgkinson was just “An individual with a personalized violent ideology (who) targeted and shot” Congressional Republicans.

“Anonymous sources,” however, didn’t tell CNN, MSNBC and the networks that truth, knowable within 24 hours after the terrorist attacks. “It was domestic terrorism. Of course, it was. What is it? Trump is not in office so the FBI is now doing its job again? Doubtful. The same deep state clowns are probably still embedded within the J. Edgar Hoover Building. What’s more frustrating is that they knew we knew. Everyone knew.

“You don’t need to be Perry Mason to make the case here. They knew, but for some reason, obfuscated and beat around the bush on what this attack was at its core. The FBI couldn’t muster the strength to tell the truth. Hell, should we be shocked after they ran with shoddy Russian collusion claims? No.” (Matt Vespa, Townhall.com). The FBI still needs housecleaning.

Local leftists, and Democrats not vested in malign beliefs and propaganda, may have swallowed those lies about that terroristic, attempted assassination; may have swallowed the “shoddy Russian collusion claims” and lies fed to your “trusted sources” at CNN and MSNBC; and may now be in thrall to the balderdash, the “big lies” about the Jan. 6 “armed insurrection” and “attempted overthrow” of the federal government by Trump-supporters egged on by President Trump.

But first, a recap of Biden’s hypocritical lunacy: He called Coast Guard graduates “a really dull class. Come on, man, is the sun getting to you?” after silence greeted Biden’s mangled attempt at impressing them with a Reagan quote. Reagan’s Coast Guard graduates cheered that “The Coast Guard is the hard nucleus about which the Navy forms in time of war.” Biden: “…the hard nucleus around the Navy forms in times of war.” Like Biden telling troops overseas to “clap for that, you stupid bastards” when they sat on their hands during his speech.

Biden revoked 1) Trump’s executive order to create a National Garden of American Heroes (Trump: “the National Garden is America’s answer to this reckless attempt to erase our heroes, values, and entire way of life”); 2) Trump’s executive order to prevent online censorship; and 3) Trump’s order to protect monuments.

Biden (Russian stooge?) waived sanctions against the company handling the construction of Russia’s Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, after killing the U.S. Keystone XL pipeline. EU countries will depend on Putin. Look up “Mainstream Media Is OK With Biden’s Russia Collusion,” (Stephen Kruiser, pjmedia.com, 5/21).

“Biden to Release Terrorists Including UBL's Guard, Al Qaeda Bag Man, and KSM Aide from GITMO. But Look Who's Still in Jail” (Victoria Taft, pjmedia.com, 5/19). Biden is amenable to releasing Al Qaeda (AQ) terrorists Saifullah Paracha, Uthman Abdul al-Rahim and Abdul Rabbani.

“Who’s Still in Jail” refers to those participants in the Jan. 6 unrest in the Capitol. “Insurrection”? That’s a dastardly, intentional fabrication of what was essentially trespassing and property destruction by some rowdy, overly-motivated Trump-supporters (with identifiable Antifa-affiliated players). No charges of “insurrection,” “sedition,” or “treason” have been filed; “violating police lines” doesn’t apply to those recorded being invited in to file through velvet ropes on a day of public access.

Numerous rights extended to common criminals have been violated in order to keep such protesters in solitary confinement. It’s a thinly-veiled attempt to intimidate an entire political party and movement from exercising their right in the future to “peaceably assemble to petition the government for redress of grievances.”

Nancy Pelosi’s, and the Democrat/media cabal’s, “insurrection” narrative is the true “big lie.
