From the Bureau of Labor Statistics and Senate committee staff comes more evidence of how the Democrats’ immigration policies have devastated the employment prospects of American women:
In one of the more shocking finds from the new tranche of employment data is the below graph from the Bureau of Labor Statistics. It shows that since the recession hit in December of 2007, 100% of all employment gains among women workers were netted by foreign workers, while the number of American women with jobs actually declined. Specifically, 9.041 million foreign-born women held jobs in December of 2007 compared to 10.028 million today – or a gain of roughly 1 million jobs. By contrast, 59.322 million US-born women held jobs in December of 2007 compared to 59.258 million today – or a loss of nearly 64 thousand jobs (even as the population of US-born women 16+ increased by more than 600,000). Overall, nearly 25 million foreign workers, men and women, hold jobs inside the United States. Each year, the U.S. hands out another 1 million green cards to new permanent immigrants, along with 700,000 foreign workers visas, 70,000 refugees and asylum-seekers, and half a million foreign students.
Here are the data:
The unprecedented immigration blitz that we are now experiencing has devastated working-class incomes and job prospects, and the Democrats simply don’t care.
