Our President, the Pathological Liar

Our President, the Pathological Liar

AP Photo/Alex Brandon

On Saturday, President Joe Biden gave the commencement address to graduates of the United States Military Academy at West Point. In his speech, Biden once again lied about receiving an appointment to the U.S. Naval Academy. Biden claimed he “was one of 10” appointed by Senator Boggs, who he later defeated in his 1972 Senate race.

Biden said, “I’d found out two days earlier they had a quarterback named Roger Staubach and a halfback named Joe Bellino. I said, ‘I’m not going there.’ I went to Delaware. Not a joke.”

As usual, he invented the story since Bellino graduated prior to Biden starting college and Staubach was a star quarterback who Biden, as a high school wide receiver, should have loved to join as a teammate. As noted by RNC Research, Biden “has repeated this lie many times before and there is still no record any of it ever happened.”

Yet, this is not surprising because Joe Biden can’t help himself, he is a pathological liar, which is defined as someone who “lies continuously…to manipulate others.”

This definition fits Biden for he is always trying to ingratiate himself in front of whatever group he is addressing. This is why says he “grew up” in the Black church or the Jewish synagogue or was “raised in the Puerto Rican community.”

He has also claimed that he “had a very close relationship with the Greek American community” and had lived in a city where everyone “was either Polish or Italian. I grew up feeling self-conscious. My name didn’t end in an S-K-I or an O.”

It seems Joe Biden had a United Nations upbringing. With such a diverse background, Biden should have been able to achieve world peace. Instead, wars have been raging throughout his term.

Of course, it is all nonsense, and it is part of the pattern that Joe Biden has been displaying his entire political career. In 1988, numerous lies ended his presidential campaign.

He was caught lifting phrases from British Labor Party leader Neil Kinnock, Robert F. Kennedy, President John Kennedy, and Vice President Hubert Humphrey. He lied about his academic background and his ranking in law school, where he was caught plagiarizing as a student.

Sadly, this known liar became President and his propensity to lie only intensified with his new position. Recently, his familiar lies include tall tales about driving an “18-wheeler,” meeting with “Angelo” the Amtrak conductor and the imaginary inferno that almost engulfed his house, but was only a “small kitchen fire,” according to the Associated Press.

The House Oversight Committee discovered that Biden lied about not having any knowledge of his son’s business dealings. Their investigation revealed “then-Vice President Biden spoke, dined, and had coffee with Hunter Biden’s foreign business associates.”

Evidently, Biden likes to lie about Pittsburgh. He falsely claimed he visited a synagogue in the city that was targeted in a mass shooting. He also lied about seeing a bridge collapse, yet media reports indicate that he visited Pittsburgh hours after the tragedy occurred.

Frequently, Biden lies about his background and his family. For example, he falsely claimed that he worked as a coal miner. He invented a story about his uncle Ambrose Finnegan, known as “Bosie,” being “shot down in New Guinea” in an area where “there used to be a lot of cannibals.” Yet, according to the Associated Press, “The U.S. government’s record of missing service members does not attribute Finnegan’s death to hostile action or indicate cannibals were any factor.”

Another familiar lie of Joe Biden involves his fictional civil rights record. He claimed he led protests, participated in sit-ins and even got arrested. Yet CNN had to correct Biden’s false narrative, reporting that “There is no evidence Biden ever got arrested during a civil rights protest.”

Biden also lied about getting “arrested” trying to visit Nelson Mandela, while he was imprisoned in South Africa. After media outlets challenged his phony claims, Biden later admitted that he was only “stopped.”

In a recent speech in Scranton, Pennsylvania, Biden stated that he never made “$400,000” per year in salary. This lie was easily refuted by his tax returns which showed he made “millions” in 2017 and 2018 and over $600,000 in 2021 and 2023.

Biden also embellishes his foreign travels and the supposed dangerous conditions he faced. He has lied about being “shot at” in Iraq, and “forced down” in Afghanistan.

He even lied about the number of times he visited Iraq and Afghanistan. In the same Scranton speech, Biden boasted of traveling to the war regions “36,38 times,” however his presidential campaign noted that he travelled to Iraq and Afghanistan “a total of 21 occasions.”

Another favorite Biden lie is that he was the first in his family to attend college. The truth, as revealed by the New York Post, is that his father and grandfather attended college.

The pathological liar Biden often tells falsehoods that can be easily refuted such as his claim that he visited Ground Zero the day after the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Just like a leopard cannot change its spots, Biden is a liar who will never change. Unfortunately, too much of our leftwing media have allowed Biden to lie throughout his long political career. Except in the 1988 presidential campaign, when his plagiarism was so egregious that it drove him from the race, Biden has been able to avoid any backlash for the frequency and the audacity of his lies.

In this campaign, there are encouraging signs there will be some honest media coverage of Biden’s lies. For example, The New York Post noted, during a recent CNN interview, Biden lied 15 times in 17 minutes.

The biggest whopper of the interview was Biden’s outrageous claim that he inherited a 9% inflation rate “when I came into office.” In truth, the inflation rate on January 20, 2021, was only 1.4%.

As President, Biden never delivered peace or prosperity, but he sure delivered a steady dose of lies.

Don't Know Much about History, or How to Be a Leftist

Don't Know Much about History, or How to Be a Leftist

AP Photo/Patrick Semansky

We pause on this long holiday weekend, originally known from 1868 to 1970 as Decoration Day. The day is meant to honor the memory of U.S. military personnel -- regardless of their political leanings -- who died in service to our nation. Since 1971, the historical tradition has continued as Memorial Day.

Concurrently, it is increasingly evident that ignorance is a key factor in being a Leftist. You have to know little about history and be sufficiently gullible to believe that your own mainstream media is presenting fair and accurate information to you. You have to think that the politicians for whom you've voted have your best interests at heart and have the best interests of the nation at heart, despite the overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

Those on the Left have perpetrated some of the great crimes that humankind has yet witnessed. A brief walk through recent world history reveals that what started as supposedly socialist movements proved to be anything but that.

Off With Their Heads

The French Revolution in 1789 was a revolt by the bourgeoisie joined by commoners against the aristocracy. Their battle cry was liberty, equality, and egalitarianism. Yet, the regime that followed the French heuristic aristocracy proved to be barbaric.

The slightest transgression or suspicion that you were somehow against “the people” meant that it was off with your head. It is estimated that tens of thousands of people faced the guillotine in France between the years 1792 and 1977 (astonishingly the last year of beheadings in France).

In Denmark in 1803, then Great Britain in 1807, and America in 1808, the slave shipping industry came to an end. While slavery lingered on in Great Britain until 1837 and in America until 1863, there were no further slaves shipped across the Atlantic. Leftists would prefer that you didn't know this. They want you to believe that America was not among the leaders in ending the Atlantic slave trade.

Socialism By Any Other Name

In 1917, as Vladimir Lenin returned from exile in Switzerland to Russia, and the Bolsheviks took power, their claims of egalitarianism also proved to be hollow. These socialists displayed that some comrades were “more equal” than others.

To be in the Russian government was to be in the ruling class; all others were deemed to be subservient. Lenin himself coined the term “useful idiots” regarding people who went along with the regime, not questioning the lies, subterfuge, bribes, cronyism, and outright theft of property, always for “the state” and never to be yours, no matter how hard you worked for it.

In 1933, headed by Adolf Hitler, the National Socialist German Workers’ Party came to power. It was a socialist movement, not a conservative movement as many would have you believe today. These German socialists were hell bent on overturning all that came before them. One of their chief objectives was to eradicate the nation of Jews, gypsies, intellectuals, and other undesirables.

Starting from Sept. 1, 1939, when he invaded Poland under false pretenses until the time that the allies were able to actually storm the beaches in Normandy and make headway through continental Europe, he held Europe and much of the rest of the world at bay. All under the banner of socialism.

In all, for 12 years, Hitler reigned supreme. Finally, he was defeated in the spring of 1945 and allegedly committed suicide.

Oh, But Democratic Socialism is Okay

Today in America, voices proclaim that socialism or, as Bernie Sanders calls it, Democratic socialism, is the only appropriate, moral, and effective way for our nation to proceed.

These Socialist advocates don't want you to know what the net result has been around the world, over the ages, of those governments and peoples who have installed socialism. Socialism by its nature dampens the human spirit, rewards a handful of elites, and otherwise cripples entire economies.

Many believe that Scandinavian countries to this day, such as Sweden, are socialists. Actually, they did try socialism for a while and found it to be such a disaster that they abandoned the pretense.

Fractured History

If you are wondering, are the historical events and occurrences discussed above presented in high school history classes, or covered in college history classes? In college depending on what course you take it's possible. In high school, I have never encountered anyone who has covered this ground.

High school history books and history teachers will talk about the Bolsheviks and the Nazis but don’t mention that they were socialist-based movements. As such, students remain ignorant of this historical reality.

And, the less you know, the more likely you can become a Leftist.

A President Who Exalts Evil

Joe Biden:  “George Floyd should be alive.  He deserved so much more.  Today, I join all those who loved him and all those touched by the civil rights movement he inspired in remembering the tragedy and injustice of his death.  He changed the world.  Now, let’s act in his memory.”

There have always been evil people in the world, and there always will be.  Sometimes, and with horrible consequences, they get into positions of supreme power—Hitler, Stalin, Mao—and huge tragedies result.  We are facing this in America now.

Joe Biden has never been a good man, but it does seem that, as an extremely weak man, he has let the utterly Evil left wing of the Democratic Party lead him farther and farther into a cesspool of decadence.  His words above about George Floyd are just depraved, and it saddens the hearts of decent, patriotic, God-fearing Americans that such a man as Biden is President of their country.  He praises a drug addict, a criminal.  What is this telling the youth of America?  That they should use drugs and become criminals so that they can die, too, like George Floyd did?  But this is Joe Biden and the current Democratic Party.

They’re sick.  They’re evil.

Let me briefly analyze what Biden said.

1.  “George Floyd should be alive.”  Yes, he should.  And if he had lived a godly, virtuous life as a productive citizen, rather than following the godless philosophy of Biden and the Democrats and becoming a drug-addicted criminal, he probably WOULD be alive today.  But he’s dead because he listened to Biden and the Left lie to him.

George Floyd being dead yet speaketh.  But what he is speaking tells us how NOT to live.  That’s the lesson of George Floyd.

2.  “He deserved so much more.”  No, he didn’t.  He deserved exactly what he got, because “whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.”  George Floyd made his choices.  Nobody forced him to use drugs.  Nobody forced him to become a criminal.  He made those choices all by himself, and the consequences he suffered were warranted and resulted from the choices he, and he alone, made.  Don’t blame the police when the criminal commits a crime.  And George Floyd was a criminal.  100% his choice.  And not praise-worthy.  Except for Democrats.

3.  “Today, I join all those who loved him...”  I’m sure there were people who loved George Floyd and probably tried to help him.  But Joe Biden loves nobody but himself and his own political power.  The truly “loving” thing to do now is to encourage all Americans NOT to emulate Floyd.  Biden should be urging every American to live a life of virtue and self-control so they won’t end up like George Floyd.  Every human being needs to be educated in those two qualities.  But those words NEVER come out of the mouth of a Democrat.  George Floyd died, not from the hand of a policeman, but because he had no virtue or self-control.  He practiced a life of iniquity, decadence, and debauchery.  That is the sole reason he died.  And that is the kind of life the Democrats are lauding by praising George Floyd.

4.  Biden is “touched by the civil rights movement [Floyd] inspired.”  Apparently, the “civil rights movement” now “inspires” people to use drugs and become criminals.  George Floyd being our “inspiration,” the “civil rights movement” now tells us that we should reject law and order, ignore people’s property rights, waste our lives, and encourage others to do the same.  There is Biden’s “civil rights movement.”  Denigrating the people (police) who risk their lives every day to protect us from criminals like George Floyd shouldn’t “inspire” anybody.  But apparently, it inspires the American President.  If you loved America, Mr. Biden, you would do everything in your power to prevent other Americans from becoming like George Floyd.

But law-breaking is a current Democratic Party mantra.  Chuck Schumer recently said that all illegal aliens should immediately be given amnesty.  The very word “amnesty” means these people broke American law, disrespected our country, and are criminals.  Why just give “amnesty” to these lawbreakers?  Why not open up the jails and give “amnesty” to every person who has violated the law?  Well, that IS, in effect, what Democratic Party DAs are doing now.

Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy recently said, “Immigrants commit crimes in this country at a rate lower than natural-born citizens.”  If he is talking about illegal immigrants, his words are a bald-faced lie.  Every illegal immigrant is a criminal.  He/she is committing a crime by being illegally in America.  And if they get away with committing the crime of breaking the law to enter the country, then what does that tell them?  It tells them that America is a country where people do not need to honor the laws.  It tells them law and order is a farce, and, with George Floyd being exalted by the President and Democrats, police will be tried, convicted, and punished for trying to enforce the law and protect innocent, law-abiding citizens from criminals like George Floyd and the illegals.  To Democrats, criminals are now the heroes.

That’s the Democratic Party today.  Pure, 100%, un-American evil.

Of course, so much of this is about vote-buying.  Democrats want to give the illegals the right to vote.  Biden is attempting to buy back the votes of black people who are being hurt so much by his economic policies.  But this is also why James Madison said that no one should ever be trusted with too much power.  Never give power to Evil.  But America has done that.  And the country is suffering mightily now because of it.

Biden, if you truly want to “act” in George Floyd’s “memory,” start encouraging people to obey the law and live virtuous, self-controlled, non-Democratic Party lives.  So they won’t end up like George Floyd.

How Low Can You Go: Ana Navarro's Vile Remarks About Latino Trump Supporters

How Low Can You Go: Ana Navarro's Vile Remarks About Latino Trump Supporters

Is there any wonder that some black people and Latinos are fleeing the Democrats and supporting former President Donald Trump?

Trump has a big tent, he wants everyone to come in, and he's talking about the things that they care about, including the economy and illegal immigration:

Meanwhile, if you are a black or Latino South Bronx supporter at Trump's Bronx rally, you have Democrats denying that you were even present at Trump's rally:

You had Democrats wishing them ill:

You had Democrats calling them "clowns" and his Bronx rally "fake":

But CNN commentator Ana Navarro apparently decided she wanted to compete with Hochul and the other Democrats for worst remark of the week. CNN's Jim Acosta asked Navarro about what she made of all this and why Latinos would support Trump:

There are some Latino immigrants who forget they came here as immigrants and who want to shut the door behind them, and who think being anti-immigrant somehow is going to make them pass as more American, pass as whatever. And that’s a very stupid attitude to have.

She even made it worse, somehow suggesting a comparison to an anti-Hispanic shooting.

Navarro then cited the 2019 mass shooting by a gunman targeting Hispanics in El Paso, Texas, in an effort to shame Latino GOP supporters.

"What folks don’t realize is that when the guy drives thousands of miles to go hunt down Latinos in a Walmart in Texas, he doesn't care when you came here. He doesn't care what your accent is," she said. "What he's looking for is, does it look like me, does it sound like me? That's what he's looking for. So, you know, when people are anti-something, they're not asking for your papers, they're just anti-that group."

Wow, how disgusting is this take? Talk about a "you ain't black" and "deplorables" moment.

Did she just claim that Latinos were trying to "pass"? Yes, she did.

Then she claimed that by supporting Trump, they were somehow forgetting they came as immigrants and were "anti-immigrant."

No, being against illegal immigration isn't being "anti-immigrant" -- it's being supportive of the law and of a proper immigration process, the process that they, legal immigrants, had to go through and illegal aliens are bypassing. It's a perverse lie to call them anti-immigrant.

Plus, maybe they're fleeing to Trump because like many other Americans, they see he's better on policies and for the economy. They remember when there weren't wars brewing around the world, and when they had more money in their pockets under Trump. And some fled Communism where they came from, so they will do all they can against it taking hold here.

But this is how low the media and Democrats will sink to try to put down Trump or anyone who supports him. They wouldn't try to better their policies or understand why Americans are supporting Trump. They'll just attack to try to hold onto control.

Memorial Day: More than Honoring Lives Lost in American Wars

Memorial Day: More than Honoring Lives Lost in American Wars

AP Photo/Andrew Harnik

Despite America being currently shaken to its foundation, we are a blessed nation, with holidays like Memorial Day, that remind us of values that provide actual solutions to our insurmountable problems.

Most people rightly associate Memorial Day with paying homage to those who gave their lives for America in war. It is one of America’s most patriotic holidays because of doing just that—honoring those who gave their lives for America and what it stands for—justice, equal opportunity, life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

But the holiday has roots that go back to the aftermath of the Civil War. At that time America was as or more divided than it is today. The Civil War cost at least 620,000 men—a greater cost than all of America’s successive wars combined.

The United States was so divided after the Civil War that many thought reconciliation impossible. Yet forgiveness began with humble and virtuous actions from the vanquished South, not the victorious North.

On April 25, 1866, a group of women from Columbus, Mississippi, chose to visit Friendship Cemetery—the burial ground for about 1,600 men who died at the Battle of Shiloh—for the purpose of honoring the dead with decorations of flowers. At that time Columbus, like the rest of the South, was occupied by Union Army forces, and some townspeople were fearful of creating new animosity if the decorations favored Confederate over Union graves.

The prayerful Columbus woman had no such intention despite having heard about the Union’s cavalier mass burial treatment of Confederate army fatalities on Northern battlefields. And so it was that their equal decoration of the graves of both sides became a catalyst for a national reconciliation movement.

Just a few days later, a second claimant for originating Decoration Day took place on Belle Isle, located on the James River in Richmond, Virginia—the capital of the Confederacy. On May 30, 1866, women placed bouquets of flowers on the graves of Union soldiers who passed away at the Confederate prisoner of war camp located there.

Despite the war’s staggering death toll and Confederates having inflicted far more casualties on the North than the Union did on the South,  President Lincoln expressed no blame or bitterness toward the Confederacy. In his Second Inaugural Address, he held both sides—the North and the South—accountable for this most costly war.

Decoration Day came to be known as a Day of Reconciliation and commemoration to honor those lost while fighting the Civil War, but its observance was not consistent for many years. The contribution of officers and soldiers from the South in winning the Spanish-American War in 1898 provided a catalyst for erecting what came to be known as the Reconciliation Monument in Arlington Cemetery, a project overseen by four presidents and finally unveiled in 1914 by President Woodrow Wilson.

After the United States' sacrifices in World War I and World War II, it was recognized that the nation needed a reconciliation and commemoration holiday to honor American military personnel who died in all wars. What started out as Decoration Day after the Civil War now became a national holiday, Memorial Day in 1968.

Americans have been unique in being willing to sacrifice because of their transcendent  belief that all people have natural rights that come from God rather than from rulers or government. The Declaration of Independence affirmed the equality of all people and that they were endowed with unalienable rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And just because it took nearly 200 years for that vision to be fully realized, it does not diminish the founding based on those ideals. Thus, when Americans sacrificed their lives in military service, we should remember that it was not just to defend the United States, but it was also to uphold the natural rights and moral values associated with the nation’s founding that inspire others worldwide.

When the Puritans departed England in 1630 for the New World, under the Charter of the Massachusetts Bay Company and sponsorship from the British Crown, they had no idea what independence and the future of the American government would look like a century and a half later. Their leader and future governor, John Winthrop, had a vision taken from Matthew 5:14-16, asserting that they were to be an example for the rest of the world. Upon leaving England and again before arriving in Massachusetts aboard the ship Arabella—a Latin name meaning “yielding to prayer”—Winthrop declared to his people their purpose quite clearly: "We shall be as a ‘City upon a Hill,’ the eyes of all people are upon us."

The governing guidelines for that “City” would in part turn out to be the U.S. Constitution, which became one of America's most important exports to the world. Writing about the benefits of the Constitution, Thomas Jefferson stated, “We feel that we are acting under obligations not confined to the limits of our society. It is impossible not to be sensible that we are acting for all mankind.”  Now,  200 years later, America has the world’s longest-surviving constitution. And since that time many sought to learn from the United States because of the captivating ideals at the center of the world's longest-surviving constitution.

In sum, Memorial Day means more than remembering and honoring those who died in military service to the country. It means connecting with a heritage that began with a courageous and faithful group of founders, who risked everything for the birth of freedom and the establishment of America as a “city on a hill.” And it is particularly appropriate in these trying times to remember that it was the spirit of forgiveness and reconciliation that renewed America after the divisive period of the Civil War when the nation suffered its greatest wartime destruction and loss of life.

Memorial Day, rightly understood, provides inspiration and depth to rediscover, and restore the ideals that made America great.

CRIMINAL EVIDENCE

CRIMINAL EVIDENCE

BY SCOTT JOHNSON IN 2020 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONBIDEN CORRUPTIONBIDEN JUSTICE DEPARTMENTCIADEEP STATEFBIHUNTER BIDEN

Hunter Biden’s laptop presents as a case study of the cooperation among the mainstream media — I would give pride of place to Natasha Bertrand and Politico, but they had a lot of company — the Democratic Party, and the deep state in the service of Our Democracy™, or Their Democracy.

This week the Biden Department of Justice vouched for the authenticity of the laptop in its prosecution of Chairman Joe’s son. What are we to make of this? Miranda Devine writes in the cover story of today’s New York Post:

The evolution of Hunter Biden laptop denial over the last three and a half years has been mind-boggling.

You need a chart to keep up.

First the laptop was a non-story (thanks, NPR).

The evolution of Hunter Biden laptop denial is hard to believe.

Then it was “hacked material” (thanks, Twitter).

Then it was “Russian disinformation” (thanks, CIA).

Then it was a “Russian plant” (thanks, Joe Biden).

Then it was “stolen” by Russians.

Then it was “hacked by Rudy Giuliani” (thanks, Kevin “Sugar Brother” Morris).

And now it is the backbone of the prosecution case against the first son in the felony gun trial he faces in Delaware in a little over a week.

Yes, the Hunter Biden laptop is evidence of a crime in more ways than one.

James Clapper, Michael Hayden, John Brennan and the rest of the Deep State 51 could not be reached for comment. Speaking for them, I should say they were glad to be of service and they would do it all over again if called upon in the service of Their Democracy.
