Catherine Herridge Nails Biden on Big Problem in Hunter's Pardon As IRS Whistleblowers Speak Out

Catherine Herridge Nails Biden on Big Problem in Hunter's Pardon As IRS Whistleblowers Speak Out

AP Photo/Jacquelyn Martin

Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter on Sunday not only for the crimes he was convicted of or pled guilty to — he gave him a blanket pardon for any possible crimes for 11 years from Jan. 1, 2014, to Dec. 1, 2014.

The IRS whistleblowers involved in his case have issued a statement skewering Joe Biden's pardon and calling out what they have been put through and the "special privilege of the powerful."

"No amount of lies or spin can hide the simple truth that the Justice Department nearly let the President's son off the hook for multiple felonies. We did our duty, told the truth, and followed the law. Anyone reading the President's excuses now should remember that Hunter Biden admitted to his tax crimes in federal court, that Hunter Biden's attorneys have targeted us for our lawful whistleblower disclosures, and that we are suing one of those attorneys for smearing us with false accusations.

"President Biden has the power to put his thumb on the scales of justice for his son, but at least he had to do it with a pardon explicitly for all the world to see rather than his political appointees doing it secretly behind the scenes. Either way it is a sad day for law abiding taxpayers to witness this special privilege for the powerful."

They put everything on the line to tell the truth and were allegedly persecuted for it. Meanwhile, Hunter takes a walk.

We all knew it was coming despite the lies of Biden and his administration. The lies were only about helping his election chances, and once that didn't matter anymore, then he would pardon him.

But Joe Biden showed how little respect he has for us with the pardon.

On top of that, investigative reporter Catherine Herridge explained how even in the pardon itself, there was a big problem with what Joe Biden said. Biden claimed that his son was selectively prosecuted, which was nonsense. If anything, the "selectiveness" was in not pursuing him for the raft of other behavior the laptop revealed.

Biden says:

Those who were late paying their taxes because of serious addictions, but paid them back subsequently with interest and penalties, are typically given non-criminal resolutions. It is clear that Hunter was treated differently.

But as Herridge notes, there's an inaccuracy there if you look at what the whistleblowers told her.

After assurances that no pardon was forthcoming....

The accuracy of the White House statement is also questionable based on our recent interview with IRS whistleblowers Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler.

Listen carefully as Ziegler explains a critical timeline in the IRS felony tax case.

WHY NOW? Hunter Biden sentencing for felony gun + tax convictions scheduled for later this month.

Ziegler alleges that Hunter admitted in his book that he filed "false tax returns when he was newly sober."

So even in the wording of the pardon, what Joe Biden is trying to sell us is malarkey, after lying that he wouldn't pardon his son.

‘Medical Community’ Reportedly in ‘Sheer Terror’ Over Trump’s Public Health Picks

‘Medical Community’ Reportedly in ‘Sheer Terror’ Over Trump’s Public Health Picks

The RFK Jr. smears are coming hot and heavy.

At this point, it’s a horse race between him and Tulsi for whom can be more viciously maligned by the so-called journalists in corporate state media.

This should surprise no one, as they are targeting, respectively, the medical-industrial complex and the military-industrial complex — two of the most entrenched and cancerous power structures in permanent Washington.

Hundreds of billions of dollars — trillions, even, depending on how far out you project into the future — in government contracts are on the line in each case, so we should expect exactly what we’re seeing from the sleazebags who have been lining their pockets at the expense of the formerly great American middle class for decades now.

Via Science.org (emphasis added):

Concerns about what a second Donald Trump (R) presidency could mean for public health and biomedical research ratcheted up this week after Robert F. Kennedy Jr. told supporters Trump has promised to give him “control” over agencies at the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the National Institutes of Health (NIH)…

Public health researchers are alarmed, especially given Kennedy’s opposition to vaccines. “I can’t imagine anyone who would be more damaging to vaccines and the use of vaccines than RFK,” University of Minnesota epidemiologist Michael Osterholm told CNN.

Kennedy has long claimed that childhood vaccines contribute to autism, despite numerous studies disproving that notion. In 2017, early in Trump’s presidency, Kennedy said he had been asked to head a vaccine safety commission, but that did not come to pass.

This time, however, Kennedy appears to be poised to wield substantial influence should Trump win. Trump has embraced Kennedy’s “Make America Healthy Again” agenda, which calls for removing allegedly harmful* chemicals in foods and water and cracking down on ultraprocessed food, among other steps.

*"Allegedly harmful”!

Continuing:

If Trump wins and formally nominates Kennedy to a public health position requiring Senate confirmation, approval would be uncertain, even if Republicans take control of that chamber. Still, one longtime research advocate and Washington, D.C., insider who spoke on condition of anonymity said confirmation “is not impossible.” And even without formal authority Kennedy could remain influential.

“We’re all in a state of panic,” this person added. “The damage that he can do is enormous. I don’t know anybody who isn’t worried about this.”

“Sheer terror” is how Sheryl Gay Stolberg, the New York Times Health Policy Correspondent, describes the sentiment among the “medical community” (because every social category has to comprise a “community” per liberal doctrine).

Aside from vague concerns over RFK Jr. removing the “allegedly harmful” (actually harmful) chemicals from the food and restricting access to vaccines — even though he has explicitly stated he would not outright ban any vaccine, but would rather reconsider the ethics of mandates — there is precious little elaboration on what it is exactly, specifically that gives these people heart palpitations.

But let’s hope that the primary fear is going to prison — for a long, long time.

Or maybe under it.

Don’t drop the soap, Fauci!

A Cautionary Tale From Europe

A Cautionary Tale From Europe

by John Hinderaker in Electric vehiclesEnergy PolicyEuropeUnited Kingdom

In 2019, Britain’s Tories won a landslide victory. Just five years later, they were voted out of office. The Conservatives failed to deliver on immigration, and Boris Johnson went “green.” With more or less leftist positions on those two issues, what reason was there to vote Tory? None, most people concluded.

Now the “green” train is engaged in a slow-motion wreck. Electric vehicle mandates are part of the problem. The Telegraph headlines: “Labour poised to water down electric car rules amid crisis in industry.” The subhed: “EV mandate not ‘working as anyone intended’, admits Business Secretary.”

Labour is poised to water down electric vehicle (EV) rules amid a mounting crisis in the industry over the pace of the transition away from petrol and diesel cars.

This is a fake transition, much like the alleged transition from fossil fuels to wind and solar energy.

Vauxhall said on Tuesday it was planning to close its Luton factory after 120 years of manufacturing at the site, putting more than 1,100 jobs at risk. Stellantis, which owns Vauxhall, said it was taking the decision “in the context of the ZEV mandate”.

It follows months of lobbying from carmakers, with Ford saying it would cut 800 UK jobs as it reduces EV production and Nissan demanding a private meeting with the Business Secretary amid fears it could leave the UK.

Meanwhile in Europe, governments are also under pressure to rein in EV targets, with Porsche saying on Tuesday it will stick with petrol engines for “much longer” than previously planned as it pulls back from electric cars.

Europe’s carmakers are in desperate straits because governments are requiring them to sell ever-increasing numbers of electric vehicles, and their customers don’t want to buy them. But governments are not yet ready to admit that the whole thing was a mistake. Thus:

[Mike Hawes, chief executive of the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders] said the slowdown in the global market, especially for electric vehicles, has hit production, with the UK particularly exposed “given we have arguably the toughest targets and most accelerated timeline but without the consumer incentives necessary to drive demand”.

It is a classic scenario: the government creates a problem by enacting mandates that devastate a market, and the purported “solution” is to distort the market further via subsidies. This is a path to ruin. The United States is on the same road, but not as far along. It isn’t too late for us to turn back.

I’m Thankful For Christ, Rush Limbaugh, and President Donald Trump

I’m Thankful For Christ, Rush Limbaugh, and President Donald Trump

AP Photo/Carolyn Kaster

Americans dodged a political bullet and have much to be thankful for this Holiday season. Providence has granted a reprieve to a nation that doesn’t deserve it. But that’s what God’s grace is — undeserved merit. As a nation, we’ve embraced the evils of liberalism, social Marxism, and post-modernist nihilism. We sacrifice our children to the modern Molech, placing their tender innocence on the reaching, red-hot arms of academics who immolate their personhood while stoking the furnace of gender identity ideology.

Infanticide continues to be a national disgrace. And the enemies of civil society assault the bedrock of our republic by destroying the definition of man and woman. A coven of ideologues driven mad by the illogic of their own doctrines, refuted by the combined total of all human experience. The gender dysphorics happily subject women to the grotesques of depraved men who force their leering stares into women’s bathrooms.

The government has been weaponized against its own citizens. Hurricane Helene victims left to languish; Trump supporters snubbed by woke FEMA bureaucrats. January 6th protestors still occupy jail cells in D.C., while the Biden crime family and the Clinton thug conglomerate remain unscathed. But, Biden’s Department of Justice raids Trump’s home on the thinnest tissue of pretext.

The Democrats responsible for Biden have set the Middle East aflame and are leading Europe into total war. But God, in His infinite wisdom and unfathomable mercy, has set a man in the breach.

I’m thankful for Donald Trump because he ends foreign policy weakness, appeasement, and chaos. Just as liberals make insane statements about gender identity, so they suffer from a pathological derangement regarding Trump’s record. It is irrefutable that no new wars began under Trump, and he achieved a stunning, historic peace in the Middle East.

Trump’s election also ensures that the abortion question is left to the States. For pro-life people like myself, it’s not a perfect resolution, but it places this issue close to the people and removes it from the purview of elitist politicians who spend their careers lurking inside the DC beltway.

I’m thankful for Trump because he’ll end federal government weaponization. Trump’s nomination of former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi signals, unequivocally, the end of DOJ weaponization. Though she’s certain to face challenges, especially regarding a radicalized DOJ culture, Bondi is certainly up to the task. Moreover, whoever Trump appoints as FBI Director, the Bondi appointment will ensure close oversight of and support for sweeping FBI reforms.

Unlocking America’s vast energy resources through fracking and favorable “drill baby drill” policies will drastically reduce consumer prices while reigning in government spending will quell the inflation beast.

In many respects, Trump is analogous to the Biblical Judges. These were individuals who God raised to positions of leadership in ancient Israel to bring about deliverance from wicked authorities who were oppressing God’s people. Perhaps Samson most resembles Trump in our time. Trump is certainly a political wrecking ball, demolishing autocratic bureaucracy, and has been spectacularly delivered from the machinations of evil people who have sought his destruction. Though Trump’s power and charisma may not reside in his hair, I think it’s safe to say he wouldn’t be the exact iconic figure without his golden locks.

I’m also thankful for the timeless legacy of Rush Limbaugh. I’m reminded of the Biblical passage that illuminates the power of legacy. “…he being dead yet speaketh.” (Hebrews 11:4). Though Rush is gone, he continues to speak with a power that captivates. One Thanksgiving tradition held dear in our household, along with beginning the Christmas movie cycle with Christmas with the Cranks, is the playing of Rush’s The True Story of Thanksgiving monologue. In it, Rush cuts through all the layers of post-modernist tripe and breathes the life of truth into the great story of America’s first Thanksgiving—a recognition of God’s immediacy and sovereignty over the affairs of man.

Rush said, “The Real Story of Thanksgiving, going back to the very first early days of the Pilgrims arriving at Plymouth Rock, is that socialism failed.” That’s contrary to everything you’ve heard from the social Marxists in academe. That’s because the social Marxists are rabid about destroying the foundations of our civil liberties. Revolution doesn’t spring from contented hearts.

Rush tells us we simply cannot comprehend the privations those first forty pilgrims suffered. Our modern way of living simply renders us insensate to what they endured — all for the freedom to live by the Bible. “The Mayflower Compact derived ‘[f]rom the Bible’…And, because of the biblical precedents outlined in Scripture, they never doubted that their experiment would work.” Rush has a wealth of truth to impart. You simply must listen to the complete segment.

Most importantly, and the Pilgrims would undoubtedly agree, I’m thankful for the Gospel — “that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.” (1 Corinthians 15:3,4) Apart from this Gospel, there would be no America, civil liberties, or concept of inalienable rights, which are none of the things we hold dear as a constitutional republic. The notion of “the pursuit of happiness” would not exist.

Every political principle that restrains a power-mad government springs from the truth of the Bible and its central focus, personal redemption through Christ, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” (Romans 10:9,10) Without spiritual liberty, there can be no temporal liberty. This is the central theme of Thanksgiving. And I’m deeply thankful for Christ’s sacrifice and for the sacrifices of pilgrims and patriots that have secured history’s longest-lived constitutional republic. Happy Thanksgiving!

Joe Rogan and Mike Rowe Deliver Body Blow to MSM Over Being Replaced by X

Joe Rogan and Mike Rowe Deliver Body Blow to MSM Over Being Replaced by X

AP Photo/Gregory Payan

Mainstream media is not dealing well with the rise of independent media and the loss of control they have over X since Elon Musk took over.

We reported earlier on Catherine Herridge dropping the receipts on why X was rising and reaching more people than the regular network media. She noted the far greater reach that you could have for stories on X with all manner of audiences.

Podcaster Joe Rogan also went to town during an interview with Mike Rowe. He spoke about the giant resistance (from the media) to the idea that X was now the "news source of the world."

Warning for graphic language:

He chastised the media types who were losing "authority," yelling, "No, you're not!" at X being the news.

"You guys f**ked us too many times," he scolded.

And we don't believe you anymore! And so, the only way to find out what's real and what's not real is someone posts it online and then everyone looks at it. And then you get the Community Note. And that's way better than The NY Times telling me that the Fruit Loops in Canada are exactly the same as the Fruit Loops in America, except for a bunch of sh** that's banned, and that's the point...Meanwhile they're factchecking RFK Jr, so now I don't trust you any more either.

"You can't gloss over the Community Notes," Rowe said in agreement.

Rowe explained how the media had "abdicated on skepticism" and  "become something else."

So, you can't really blame people for considering what we used to dismiss as conspiracy theories when those theories start to be borne out, and when there's such a level of eroded trust in once-credible institutions.

Rogan explained that this was about them wanting to hold onto being the "experts," and people questioning or spouting "conspiracy theories" were challenging that. "But then when they're wrong, there's no repercussion," he said they never want to admit they are wrong. They don't want to admit they were wrong about masking, wrong about social distancing when it came to COVID.

"Where's the humility?" Rowe asked. And that's the problem.

There is none. We'll never see an apology for all the lies, like the Russia collusion lie--all the harm that did, how that divided the country, and how much that cost us.

Because all they seem to be about is wanting to hold onto control and attacking anyone who might question that, from Rogan to Elon Musk to President-elect Donald Trump. But because of X and independent media, that's a door opened they cannot close and they will continue to implode.

Bluesky Blues: Turley, Jennings Nail It on the One Post-Election Lesson Journos Refuse to Learn

Bluesky Blues: Turley, Jennings Nail It on the One Post-Election Lesson Journos Refuse to Learn

Townhall Media

When one loses an election in the way Democrats lost three weeks ago, you would expect there to be political post-mortems on what went right, what went wrong, and what can be done from now on not to make the same mistakes again in future elections.

While some of that is happening to varying degrees (with the rightness and wrongness of the conclusions up for debate), one area where we haven't seen a lot of introspection is from the mainstream media which is, let's face it, little more than an arm of the Democrat Party.

Instead of coming to terms with how their TDS-laced reporting influenced their readers and viewers away from the left's preferred candidates, many of them seem content with sticking their heads in the sand - and fleeing from Twitter/X to their Bluesky safe space in the process.

READ MORE: The Left's Emotional Support Social Media Site Bluesky Is Going About As Well As You Might Expect

But as George Washington University Law School Professor Jonathan Turley observed, running away is the exact opposite of what they should have done:

Over at X, there is no shortage of trolls from the left and the right. However, it is hardly an echo chamber. Many liberals are among the most influential and criticize the right and others, including Musk and X. It also has its share of far-left trolls. However, it is the fact that it also allows such voices from the right that seems to produce the gasping, hypoxic response of liberals.

[...]

Ironically, one lesson from this election is the danger of both the press and pundits in becoming increasingly out of touch with most of the country.  The shock expressed by many is due to a lack of exposure to opposing views — not the need for further ideological isolation.

That cathartic effort is evident in many subscribers who are now boycotting the Washington Post and MSNBC. MSNBC contributor and Washington Post columnist Jennifer Rubin appears to support such efforts. Rubin is an avowed Marxist. Groucho Marxist, that is. Marx famously said, “I don’t want to belong to any club that would accept me as one of its members.”

It's similar to a very on-point observation conservative strategist Scott Jennings made during a Monday segment on CNN where his leftist co-panelists were in disbelief that their own network had reported that Twitter/X was more ideologically balanced than it ever had been.

After some back and forth yada yadaing about being "concerned" with billionaires buying media sites and social media platforms (which Jennings correctly pointed out was being done way before Musk bought Twitter), Jennings got to the heart of the matter of why there was such an uproar from media types and leftists about Musk's ownership of Twitter/X and them exiting stage left to Bluesky after the election:

Bingo.

What enrages them is the near-total loss of control over the political/cultural narratives they like to set and the filtered, carefully selected bits of information they want you to know about rather than give you the full, unvarnished picture. They've had control over information flow for decades but over the last few years it has slowly but surely eroded - and they hate it.

The fact that so many leftists and press figures have fled to Bluesky and other social media platforms like TikTok further speaks to that point and also confirms another one - that both of them as groups work hand in hand.

I mean, how else would you explain the fact that so many journalists, pundits, and other prominent public figures/commentators quit Twitter/X and ran off to Bluesky just as the left was touting its supposed benefits? This was not a coincidence and as far as I'm concerned, if you're a reporter and you rushed to Bluesky after the election so you could feel "free to speak your mind" you've told me exactly where you stand politically and how you feel about opposing viewpoints without having to say a word.

Donald Trump Is About to Go Nuclear on the FBI

Donald Trump Is About to Go Nuclear on the FBI

AP Photo/Julia Demaree Nikhinson

President-elect Donald J. Trump is gearing up to go nuclear on the FBI and Justice Department, and who can blame him? After years of relentless targeting, capped off with a federal raid on his home in a blatant attempt to torpedo his 2024 campaign, Trump emerged victorious. Now it’s his turn to strike back.

The gloves are off, and the days of tolerating the FBI’s overreach are over. Trump reportedly plans to bypass the FBI’s compromised background checks altogether, issuing security clearances to his appointees on his own authority. This scorched-earth approach sends a clear message: the Biden DOJ’s partisan games are finished. With his team in place, Trump is ready to dismantle the Democratic Party's stronghold on the FBI, beginning the long-overdue process of restoring integrity to the nation’s top law enforcement agencies.

RelatedThis Trump Nomination Will Make Leftists' Heads Spin

"Donald Trump’s transition team is planning for all political appointees to receive sweeping security clearances on the first day and only face FBI background checks after the incoming administration takes over the bureau and its own officials are installed in key positions, according to people familiar with the matter," reports The Guardian.

According to the report, this approach reflects the ongoing distrust of the FBI, which, of course, began with its handling of transition records during the Russia investigation in Trump’s first term. Trump’s team may not get classified briefings until he is sworn in on January 20, opting to unilaterally issue clearances across the administration.

The putative process for obtaining a clearance in the first Trump administration involved the White House’s personnel security office relying on an FBI background check to decide whether to grant one. The background check initially looked for untrustworthiness or red flags that could be exploited by adversaries.

If the initial checks against law enforcement databases uncovered no issues, applicants were granted an interim clearance while deeper investigations continued until it was advanced to a permanent clearance. The current Trump plan appears set to bypass that initial stage.

“The Trump-Vance transition lawyers continue to constructively engage with the Biden-Harris administration lawyers regarding all agreements contemplated by the Presidential Transition Act. We will update you once a decision is made,” Trump spokesperson Brian Hughes said in a statement.

Let's be honest here. Trump has little reason to trust the FBI and has every reason to proceed with caution. Trump was undermined from within throughout his first term, and he knows he cannot allow the same mistake to happen again. As you read this, there are probably enemies inside thinking of ways to undermine his presidency.

The story notes that during Trump's first term, "multiple advisers faced delays and hurdles in obtaining top-level clearances, including Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, Trump adviser Boris Epshteyn, and the controversial former Trump White House national security aide Sebastian Gorka." Democrats are already accusing Tulsi Gabbard of being a Russian asset, and you can bet the same shenanigans we saw last time will happen again if Trump and his team aren't proactive to stop the politicization from becoming a roadblock for him and his administration.
