Fascist Prosecution Law Fare Forcing Trump Attorneys to Take Guilty Pleas in Georgia

Fascist Prosecution Law Fare Forcing Trump Attorneys to Take Guilty Pleas in Georgia

The left has gleefully discovered that by dominating the legal system, they can squelch conservative agendas and viewpoints through the courts. Judges afraid of losing their careers and reputations and being harassed by protesters are issuing rulings that comply with the fascists. State bars are disbarring conservative attorneys, deterring other attorneys from representing conservative positions like challenging election corruption. Prosecutors are going after the brave attorneys who assisted President Donald Trump with the 2020 election lawsuits.

Knowing the legal system is stacked against them, so they would very likely end up serving time in prison if they went to trial, attorneys Sidney Powell, Jenna Ellis, and Kenneth Chesebro, along with bail bondsman Scott Graham Hall, agreed to accept plea deals in the politically motivated RICO prosecution by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis this past month.

The justice system has become so corrupt that conservatives can no longer get a fair jury trial. The Democrat-appointed judge who handled the Dominion lawsuit against Fox News forced a nearly $1 billion settlement by granting a summary judgment motion for Dominion, which resulted in jury instructions stating that all of the statements made by attorneys Powell and Rudy Giuliani, as well as all negative claims made on the network about Dominion, were false. So there’s no way a jury would have found for Fox News based on that.

Additionally, the jury pool in heavily Democratic Fulton County would be stacked with Democrats. In previous years, judges almost always agreed to transfer political trials to jurisdictions more representative of the general population. With today’s fascist left, that era has ended.

Judges can also keep out evidence and witnesses based on bogus technical reasons. In the disbarment trial of Trump’s former attorney and constitutional legal scholar John Eastman, California Bar Disciplinary Judge Yvette Roland, who contributed to Democrats while serving on the bench, has kept out the majority of evidence based on relevance or hearsay, even though the hearsay rules in that type of trial are much more relaxed.

She’s even refused to allow multiple official government documents into evidence, such as reports by the Many of Eastman’s witnesses were not allowed to testify because she said their testimony wasn’t relevant, even though they were going to testify about their interactions with him regarding investigating election corruption — the precise issue he’s on trial for.

Adding to the pressure, Powell and Chesebro are considered unnamed, unindicted co-conspirators in the federal prosecution of Trump led by DOJ special counsel Jack Smith.

Powell pleaded guilty to six misdemeanor counts of conspiracy to commit intentional interference with the performance of election duties. She was accused of trying to copy election data from Coffee County and change the election results in Georgia. Ironically, the former DOJ attorney authored Licensed to Lie: Exposing Corruption in the Department of Justice, which revealed how corrupt prosecutors are.

Chesebro, a Harvard Law School graduate who was accused of trying to set up an alternate electoral slate in Georgia, pleaded guilty to one felony charge of conspiracy to commit filing false documents.

Hall pleaded guilty to five counts of conspiracy to commit intentional interference with the performance of election duties, all misdemeanors. He was accused of conspiring to allow others to "unlawfully access secure voting equipment and voter data" and charged with racketeering and six conspiracy counts, all felonies.

Ellis, who cut a deal with the Colorado Bar earlier this year to avoid losing her law license, admitting she “spread misrepresentations” about election fraud, continued her implosion implicating others. Instead of accepting the plea deal, she read a statement throwing everyone under the bus. She said she failed to do her “due diligence,” saying if she had known then what she knew now, she wouldn’t have represented Trump. She was charged with felonies related to the alternate electoral slate and pleaded guilty to one felony count of aiding and abetting false statements and writings.

The four will be required to testify against others. While Ellis appears to have no restraint at throwing others under the bus, the others are expected to be far more cautious with their testimony. Ellis raised over $200,000 for her legal defense, no doubt due to her name recognition from representing Trump, so after her statement in court, some of her donors wanted their money back. Due to her plea deal, the Colorado Bar is expected to go after her again.

The other defendants in the Georgia prosecution may not accept plea deals. While the Georgia court may be a kangaroo court, there is always a chance a fairer court will reverse any conviction. While the U.S. Supreme Court has refused to accept any election cases related to the 2020 election — granted, some were very narrowly split votes among the justices not to accept them — no doubt due to the justices not wanting to be hassled by the left, the rest of their lives as “election deniers,” there is a good chance they will draw the line at putting people in prison for merely being concerned about real election fraud.

Newly-Minted Speaker Mike Johnson Lays Into Joe Biden's Lies and Corruption

Newly-Minted Speaker Mike Johnson Lays Into Joe Biden's Lies and Corruption

AP Photo/Alex Brandon

It's still a bit of a mystery as to how exactly newly-minted House Speaker Mike Johnson will handle the upcoming budget battles, but on Joe Biden's corruption, he's already making himself clear.

While speaking to Fox News Digital, Johnson laid into the president's alleged corruption surrounding his family's influence-peddling operation, calling it an "ongoing cover-up" and directly accusing Biden of lying "repeatedly." Johnson said:

We have an ongoing cover-up of the important facts as Joseph Biden is sitting in the Oval Office. We know that he stared right into the camera as the president and lied repeatedly—I mean, multiple times—he lied directly multiple times about his involvement and knowledge of his son’s business dealings. We all know that now.

The president's story regarding his knowledge of his son's business dealings has dramatically changed over the last year. As far back as 2020, he was insisting that he had not ever spoken to his son about business nor that anyone in his family had taken money from China. Of course, that was always contradictory. How could he know what money his family had made from China, if he had no knowledge of the dealings in the first place? Ultimately, both claims were proven false.

So, the question Johnson and most intellectually honest people are asking is why Biden lied. Why continually repeat a falsehood that he had no knowledge of the business dealings if they were all above board? The most logical answer is that they weren't all above board. Why did Biden appear on business phone calls at least 20 times? Why did he receive a $200,000 check from his brother as a "loan repayment" when there's no evidence such a loan ever existed? There are many other connections as well.

In his comments, Johnson also specifically mentioned bribery as a possible impeachment charge.

Johnson said he believes there is "an overwhelming amount of evidence, and that seems to indicate that he was involved and that they did know about this, and that the family did benefit from it."

"I think we might be arguing about high crimes and misdemeanors, but I’m not so certain bribery is not involved in some way here, either," Johnson said. "And of course, bribery is specifically listed in the Constitution, and so we have an obligation to pursue it."

Still, the pace of the investigation is likely to wear on some Republican voters who are looking for accountability. Johnson gave assurances that things were being done in a methodical way on purpose, so that any final push for impeachment couldn't be easily scuttled. Having only a four-seat majority means the GOP has to be very careful to not lose swing-district members in a final vote.

With that said, this can't simply drag on forever. Members will be deep into their reelection campaigns by the summer. Waiting that long would likely mean an end to any real chance at impeachment, especially with so many judicial shenanigans going on with redistricting. It is now very possible Republicans will lose the House in 2024. The time to strike is the next few months.

GREEN DREAMS GOING UP IN SMOKE

GREEN DREAMS GOING UP IN SMOKE

BY JOHN HINDERAKER IN ELECTRIC VEHICLESENERGY POLICY

Wind and solar are both terrible methods of generating electricity, both expensive and unreliable. The one thing that can make the situation worse is the drive to electrify everything, including motor vehicles. The impracticality of this “green” vision has become blindingly obvious, and the “green” movement has begun to fall apart.

Steve noted this afternoon the collapsing share prices of renewable energy companies. Here are some more indications that the “green” movement is spiraling downward:

From the Telegraph: “Electricity prices ‘must rise by 70pc to pay for more wind farms.’”

No new wind farms will be built off Britain’s shores unless the Government lets operators earn more money from the electricity they produce, the chief of the nation’s biggest generator has said.

Tom Glover, country chair of RWE’s UK arm, said the price offered by the Government to wind farm operators must rise by as much as 70pc to entice companies to build.
***
His warning follows the disastrous result of the last offshore wind allocation round in September, which ended in a humiliation for ministers with not one company offering to build new offshore wind farms.

From Grid Brief: “GE Offshore Wind to Post $1 Billion in Losses.”

General Electric’s offshore wind division is set to post $1 billion in losses.
“Offshore Wind remains difficult this year with losses of roughly $1 billion,” Chief Executive Officer Larry Culp said on Tuesday. Culp added that he expects similar losses next year, but with a better cash performance.

Culp’s announcement comes as the wind industry reels from sustained headwinds—supply chain snags, materials costs, component price increases, and higher interest rates. Project delays plus decreases in demand for offshore wind are expected.

From Robert Bryce: “Ford Lost $62,016 For Every EV It Sold In 3Q.”

The bloodbath in Ford Motor Company’s EV division continues. On Thursday, Ford reported an operating loss of $1.3 billion in its EV division during the third quarter. That translates into a loss of $62,016 for each of the 20,962 EVs it sold during the period.

That’s a smaller loss than the company recorded in the second quarter, when it lost $72,762 for each EV and the $66,446 it lost per EV during the first quarter.
***
In its October 26 press release, Ford provided an additional comment on the EV losses, saying, “According to the company, many North America customers interested in buying EVs are unwilling to pay premiums for them over gas or hybrid vehicles, sharply compressing EV prices and profitability.” …

That’s a truth bomb of the first order, one to which veteran observers of the EV hype should rightly reply, “ya think?” Consumers, that is, consumers who aren’t part of the Benz and Beemer crowd, have been unwilling to pay premiums for EVs throughout the century-long history of the EV business. The question that Ford shareholders should be asking the company’s management, and CEO Jim Farley in particular, is obvious: “What the hell took you so long to recognize that customers aren’t willing to pay high prices for EVs?”

It isn’t just Ford, of course:

On Thursday, Mercedes-Benz reported disappointing earnings and revenues. Reuters quoted the German automaker’s CFO, Harald Wilhelm, who called the EV sector a “pretty brutal space.” Reuter said some automakers are selling EVs at prices “below the level of internal combustion engine cars despite their higher production costs.” It also quoted Wilhelm as saying, “I can hardly imagine the current status quo is fully sustainable for everybody.”
***
Last week, Elon Musk warned about slowing demand for EVs after Tesla missed revenue and profit targets for the third quarter. And if Musk is warning about demand, then the EV business must really be in trouble.

“Green” energy companies and electric vehicle manufacturers rely on governments to force consumers to buy their products, like it or not. But there is a limit to how much of a decline in their standard of living voters are willing to accept for the sake of “green” mythology. Blackouts have already begun (not to mention skyrocketing electricity prices), and as blackouts become more widespread, voters are going to punish the politicians who lied to them about “green” energy. Let’s hope that happens before tens of billions more dollars are poured into the coffers of the cynical “green” industries.

Biden Slowly and Methodically Beats the War Drum

Biden Slowly and Methodically Beats the War Drum

Biden Slowly and Methodically Beats the War Drum
(DDG 78)

Since Joe Biden was placed in office (some would say he was not elected), the entire world has realized that he is nothing more than a meat puppet. The trick for any foreign or domestic official dealing with him has become a guessing game as to who is pulling his strings at any given time. I’m not going to speculate as to who has been manipulating the pot roast with eyes recently, although I have some ideas, but whoever it is, they are definitely entering questionable and dangerous territory.

The current puppeteer(s) are looking for a fight. Under Trump, the world was a quiet place. The loudest war during the entire Trump presidency existed between a disgustingly biased MSM and the president himself. Even then, Trump wouldn’t back down. He stood directly in front of his adversaries and took hours’ worth of questions. He proved that there absolutely can be peace through strength. To all of the Trump haters out there, the one thing you can’t hate is that the man was always looking out for the United States 100% of the time.

Biden is the exact opposite. More clown than president, this mind-numbing zero makes Jimmy Carter look like a brain surgeon. The far left has dominated every policy decision that he has made. His administration has destroyed our education system, our foreign policy, and our energy independence and weakened our military. We are a country on many precipices, and now he has brought us to the edge of war.

His mindless financing of Ukraine was beyond the pale a year ago. Now even his own party can’t avoid the stench of the rat. This was after his beyond-disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan and his continuous funding of terrorism by sending billions of dollars to Iran.

The American public has grown weary of the tired old man in the White House. The only people who still embrace him are the radicals from the far left who live rent-free in his empty head and the “Mindless Stream Media” that are so baffled by life that they think they are advancing society through the denial of science and biology.

Biden didn’t spend all his idiocy on foreign soil. On the home front, he has left all of our borders wide open. Crime in Democrat cities is out of control, and a tiered justice system now undeniably exists in the country. Inflation is rampant, and there aren’t any indicators that show that trend changing. Biden’s puppeteers created the quicksand and threw the country into it. Now up to their necks, they turn to the only thing they know: war.

Democrats love power, and they are great at spinning their failures into palatable excuses that they feed to the American public. They saw Hamas attacking Israel as an opportunity. In their simple minds, they saw that bloodthirsty attack as an opportunity to “pretend” to rescue Israel. I say pretend because this administration has made it clear that it doesn’t give a damn about Israel. However, never let a good crisis go to waste, and by playing white knight, Biden’s controllers thought their phony big-brother hero imitation would save the 2024 election. They knew that their far-left policies won’t stop inflation, illegal immigration, or rampant crime in revolving-door Democrat cities. So they needed a distraction, and a “feel-good” war has always done the trick.

Not so fast. The climate of hate that the far left has cultivated here in the States is not working for Biden. On college campuses across the country, far-left zombies are protesting against Israel, which is so ironic, because the hate the administration initiated is now obstructing their “clean” entrance into a “rally-around-the-flag war.”

Another problem is that the last thing that the American people want is involvement in another war. They know that it means the possibility of American deaths, and the cost of another war will certainly impact every American family. So what do Biden’s string pullers do? The wrong thing, of course: they sent the U.S.S. Gerald Ford aircraft carrier group into the Persian Gulf.

This essentially gives Islamic terrorists something else to attack, which they did.

The Wall Street Journal reported:

Nearly two dozen drones swarmed the USS Carney, a guided-missile destroyer, on Thursday, the Pentagon said. The destroyer intercepted multiple projectiles near the coast of Yemen, the officials said. Drones attacked a U.S. base Tuesday and again Wednesday near the Syrian-Jordan border, causing minor injuries, defense officials said. The attack at al-Tanf base happened the same day a U.S. base in Iraq also came under a drone attack. There, a U.S. contractor died of a cardiac event while trying to take shelter, the officials said.

In fact, now we know that more than a dozen U.S. military personnel and contractors have been injured so far in the attacks. Still, not every scary sign of war comes in the form of planes, missiles, or drones. Some can even come from the kitchen.

It’s been reported that after the attacks, the crew on the U.S.S. Gerald Ford dined on surf and turf, a steak and lobster dinner. Special meals like that are usually reserved for holidays and special occasions. Sometimes they are used as morale boosters when something tenuous is coming down the pike. Is this meal indicative of a longer deployment, or do Biden’s puppeteers have something even more ominous in mind?

Leftists used to joke about Trump having access to nuclear weapon codes. I wonder how many secretly wish he still did?

DEMOCRATS, LEFTISTS CITE DISCREDITED SMEAR FACTORY TO DEMONIZE HOUSE SPEAKER MIKE JOHNSON

Democrats, Leftists Cite Discredited Smear
Factory to Demonize House Speaker Mike Johnson

New House Speaker Mike Johnson had barely secured the gavel when leftist groups started attacking him for having previously worked at a premier religious liberty nonprofit law firm that has won numerous cases before the U.S. Supreme Court.

Leftist groups and one of Johnson’s Democratic colleagues in the House noted his history as a lawyer with Alliance Defense Fund, now known as Alliance Defending Freedom. The Southern Poverty Law Center, which gained its reputation by suing Ku Klux Klan groups into bankruptcy, has branded ADF a “hate group,” placing it on a “hate map” alongside Klan chapters.

Critics on the Right and on the Left have defended ADF from this smear, but many on the Left cited it in slamming Johnson.

“MAGA Extremist Mike Johnson is not fit to lead the House of Representatives,” Rep. Judy Chu, D-Calif., posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, before Johnson won the speaker vote Wednesday. Among other things, she faulted Johnson for having “worked previously for an [SPLC]-identified hate group.”

The Human Rights Campaign, an influential LGBTQ organization that compiles an “Equality Scorecard” that pushes brands like Bud Light and Target to champion homosexual and transgender causes, also cited the SPLC’s accusation.

“New Speaker of the House Mike Johnson is an election-denying extremist who is as anti-LGBTQ+ as they come,” the HRC posted on X. The group faulted Johnson for having “introduced a federal ‘Don’t Say Gay’ bill, co-sponsored a gender-affirming care ban, [and] served as national spokesperson for an anti-LGBTQ+ hate group.”

(Transgender activist groups use the term “gender-affirming care” as a euphemism for experimental medical alterations with lifetime impacts to which critics say children cannot provide truly informed consent. The bill Johnson introduced, the Stop the Sexualization of Children Act of 2022, aims to prohibit the use of federal funds for “any sexually-oriented program, event, or literature for children under the age of 10.” Johnson’s critics branded that a “Don’t Say Gay” bill along the same lines that they demonized Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis’ bill expanding parental rights in education.)

Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington also assailed Johnson for having “worked for Alliance Defending Freedom—designated a hate group by the SPLC.”

The Lincoln Project, a group organized by former GOP strategists that spends most of its time attacking Republicans and became notorious after more than 20 men accused former leader John Weaver of sexual harassment, joined in the attacks.

“He wants to nullify same-sex marriage,” The Lincoln Project posted. “Before Congress, Johnson worked as a lawyer for the Alliance Defending Freedom, an anti-LGBTQ+ group, and defended Louisiana’s same-sex marriage ban and anti-abortion laws.”

Accountable.US, a leftist group that has targeted conservative Supreme Court justices, also criticized Johnson for his work at ADF, citing the SPLC. “Speaker-Nominee Johnson Comes From Known Hate Group Pushing Radical Legal Agenda at Supreme Court,” the press release headline reads.

As I explain in my book “Making Hate Pay: The Corruption of the Southern Poverty Law Center,” the SPLC took the program it had used to bankrupt organizations associated with the Ku Klux Klan and weaponized it against conservative groups, partially to scare its donors into ponying up cash and partially to silence ideological opponents.

Amid a racial discrimination and sexual harassment scandal in which the SPLC fired its co-founder, a former employee called the “hate” accusations a “highly profitable scam.”

Even left-leaning allies of the SPLC, such as former ACLU President Nadine Strossen and Military Religious Freedom Foundation President Mikey Weinstein, have criticized the SPLC for branding ADF a “hate group.” ADF has won numerous cases before the Supreme Court, including Masterpiece Cakeshop in 2018 and 303 Creative this year, two cases involving Christians who gladly serve LGBTQ customers, but refuse to lend their creative artistic support to celebrate same-sex weddings.

A gunman used the “hate map” to target the Family Research Council for a terrorist attack in 2012. A few years before that, then-SPLC spokesman Mark Potok said “our aim in life is to destroy these groups,” referring to organizations on the “hate group” list.

The SPLC recently added parental rights groups, such as Moms for Liberty and Parents Defending Education, to its “hate map,” branding them as “antigovernment extremist groups” that are part of an “anti-student inclusion movement.”

According to the SPLC’s criteria for an “anti-LGBTQ+ hate group,” as with ADF, the entire Roman Catholic Church should fall under the accusation. The SPLC cited a quote directly from the Catechism of the Catholic Church as proof that the Ruth Institute—a small Louisiana nonprofit dedicated to helping victims of the sexual revolution—is a “hate group.”

Johnson did not respond to The Daily Signal’s request for comment by publication time; nor did Chu. Yet, ADF did respond, defending Johnson’s record at the organization and slamming the SPLC accusation.

“While serving at Alliance Defending Freedom, Congressman Mike Johnson defended the rule of law and Americans’ most cherished liberties,” Kristen Waggoner, CEO, president, and general counsel at ADF, told The Daily Signal in a statement Thursday. “We congratulate and wish him the best as he continues his service to our nation protecting the Constitution and all Americans’ foundational freedoms.”

“Alliance Defending Freedom is one of the nation’s most respected and successful U.S. Supreme Court advocates working to preserve the fundamental freedoms of speech and religion for all Americans,” Jeremy Tedesco, senior vice president of corporate engagement and senior counsel at ADF, told The Daily Signal. “We’ve won 15 cases at the Supreme Court since 2011, including a victory in 2023.”

“ADF believes that all people are made in the image of God and that everyone is worthy of dignity and respect,” Tedesco added. “The Southern Poverty Law Center’s ‘hate map’ targets groups with mainstream conservative and religious viewpoints that they disagree with. The SPLC is a thoroughly discredited, blatantly partisan activist outfit known for sexism, racism, and condoning domestic terrorism.”

“Their end game is tyranny, not tolerance,” he declared. “ADF will continue to work every day to build a society where life is cherished and protected, and everyone can freely share their ideas, exercise their faith, and live together peacefully despite different beliefs, opinions, and backgrounds.”
