You won't read/hear this from the AGW koolaid drinking fools of AP, ABS, NBS, CBS

Urgent letter from Lord Christopher Monckton:

As I write this, leaders of 190 countries will soon be gathering at a UN “global warming” conference in Copenhagen, Denmark. They will be negotiating a treaty creating an unelected world government with unlimited powers to end free markets worldwide, to tax financial markets out of existence, to grab the equivalent of more than half the U.S. defense budget each year, to interfere directly in your nation’s economic and environmental affairs, and to redistribute your hard-earned dollars to third-world nations in reparation for imagined and imaginary “climate debt.”

When I first revealed the dangerous scope of the draft Copenhagen Treaty in a speech in the U.S. in mid-October, three million people viewed a video clip of me on YouTube discussing that treaty within three weeks – the quickest and biggest Web response to any political speech, ever.

Why was the response so overwhelming? Because Americans care about their great nation and its great Constitution. You believe in democracy.
The tired litany of contrived disasters, debacles, catastrophes, cataclysms, Armageddons, and apocalypses mournfully recited by Al Gore and other “global warming” profiteers is ringing hollow in voters’ ears.

In recent weeks, opinion polls in the U.S., Canada, the UK, and Australia have all confirmed a massive collapse in public belief in the “global warming” superstition, notwithstanding the hundreds of billions being spent worldwide on alarmist propaganda by governments and environmentalists.

For years Gore has been dodging a public debate with me on the question of “global warming.” Why? Because he’d lose, big-time. “Global warming” was not, is not, and will never be a global crisis.

World leaders, led by the nose by a handful of politically-motivated scientists and a crowd of what Lenin called “useful idiots” in the media and in academe, are about to bring democracy to an end worldwide – and all for the sake of stopping “global warming” that will not occur.

Recent science has finally proved that the warming effect of our greenhouse-gas emissions is small, harmless, and even beneficial.

Globally, we increase the atmospheric concentration of CO2 by 2 parts per million by volume per year. Even if the UN’s exaggerated estimate of the warming effect of CO2 were right, it would take 23 years at this rate to push up “global warming” by just 1 Fahrenheit degree.

In practice, though, the effect of CO2 is only one-seventh of what the UN imagines – so make that at least 150 years with no carbon emissions worldwide, at all, just to prevent 1°F of future warming. So the draft Treaty’s draconian measures are as economically futile as they are scientifically pointless. Game over.

FIGHT BACK AGAINST GLOBAL GOVERNANCE:

SIGN THE “INSTRUMENT OF REPUDIATION” AND “ALL PAIN, NO GAIN” PETITIONS NOW!

In fact, there has been no “global warming” for 15 years. There has been global cooling for 9 years. This, too, has gone almost unreported. Until recently, the world had been warming for 300 years.

For at least 280 of those 300 years, we could not have been in any way to blame. Even if the world were still warming, which it is not, the fact of that warming would not tell us anything about the cause of the warming.

So there is no need for the Copenhagen Treaty, and no need for the thousand-page climate policies now before both Houses of Congress.

What can you do to stop the massive costs to both our freedom and economic prosperity? You can take action by signing the “Instrument of Repudiation of the Treaty” and then voice your opinion against global warming policies like cap and trade by signing the “All Pain, No Gain” petition.

Get all of your family, relatives, friends, and contacts to do the same. If you love your great country and its athletic democracy as much as I do, you must act now, before it is too late.

Yours truly,

Lord Christopher Monckton,Third Viscount of Brenchly

Former Advisor to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher
