When all the polls say Americans disapprove...

...of the Obama/Pelosi/Reid health care bills:

"The day in polls"

Republicans and industry insiders are passing around today's polls, highlighting the lack of support Democratic reform plans have. By far the most mentioned in my inbox is today's CNN poll. Here's the highlights, or lowlights depending on your perspective, from CNN, Fox and
NYT/CBS.

CNN:

36 percent favor the Senate bill while 61 percent oppose it.
79 percent said the bill would increase the deficit, 19 percent said it wouldn't.
85 percent said the bill would increase their taxes, 14 percent said it wouldn't.

Fox:

57 percent oppose health reforms and 34 percent favor them.
41 percent want Congress to pass reform while 54 percent said they'd rather Congress do nothing.
64 percent think the reforms will cost them money while 23 percent think it will save them loot.

CBS/NYT

42 percent approve, 50 percent disapprove of how Obama's handling health care
16 percent think reform will help them, 34 percent think it will hurt them and 42 percent think it will have no effect.
59 percent favor a public option and 29 percent oppose it.
