Will defend Obama when he's right

Based on the headlines that President Obama defended our wars while accepting the Nobel Peace Prize, I can only give cudos. I'll not get into the details of what he said because I would probably find points to dispute. Just let it be said that wars have contributed at times to peace that saved lives, as in Iraq. SH averaged 80,000-100,000 deaths of his own people PER YEAR through famine, depriving them of medicine, persecution, etc. Since 2003, about 100,000 or so Iraqis have died, most of which were not actually at Americas hands, so do the math and figure out how many Iraqis are alive statistically because America fought a war to remove Saddam and the Baath rulers. There is also not a chance that Iraq will launch any more wars of aggression against other nations. 'Nuff said.

If, when, Iran develops nuclear weapons and either sends a missle-base warhead, or smuggles a bomb into another country, killing humndreds of thousands or millions, will anyone on the peace-now-left have the courage to say that it would have been worth the loss of military lives and treasure to stop Iran?
