Don's Tuesday Column

THE WAY I SEE IT   by Don Polson   Red Bluff Daily News   4/12/2022

From almost stolen to rigged to…

Let’s just say, “Fool us once, shame on you; fool us three times, shame on us.” Consider elected Democrats, the “fake news” media, the jaundiced partisan commentariat class, the “private sector” Big Tech oligarchs, and even rank and file Democrat voters perhaps disenchanted with their party’s leftward lurch. Whether these disparate groups acknowledge it or not, the progressive attempted takeover of the process of informed voting integrity—upon which our representative democracy depends as a standard to the world—is the greatest existential, internal threat America has ever faced.

The fact that the American people are, and have been, “gaslighted” (meaning repeatedly lied to by government/media, impugning our own mental failings for doubting those lies) evidences the malignancy of the effort. That the “gaslighting” now duplicitously says “our Democracy”—Democrat leaders’ shorthand for “their single-party control of America’s system of self-governance”—is in jeopardy by Republicans, suggests desperation.

Not to obsess over elections past, but “those who fail to learn from history are condemned to repeat it” (Winston Churchill, George Santayana). To summarize 2016 lessons: The Democrat cabal—Hillary Clinton, the DNC, Perkins-Coie law firm, operatives Mark Elias, Sussman; Steele and his phony-baloney “dossier” channeling actual Russian disinformation; corrupt FBI/DOJ tools, broadcast and cable “hack-tivist” mouthpieces—conspired in an attempted coup via Congressional impeachments, and the Mueller investigation and report. It exonerated and cleared President Donald J. Trump of malfeasance. Questions?

If you missed this as it was happening; if you believed the narratives of “Russian collusion” by Trump et al in naïve acceptance of the veracity of your “news sources”; if you’re reluctant to condemn the malevolent, devious manipulation of your trust for crass political power-grabbing—I say, “turn away from the dark side.”

Special Counsel John Durham is now “bringing the receipts”: “Durham evidence creates timeline of relentless Democrat effort to sell Russia collusion hoax” (John Solomon); search that title for thorough, lengthy timelines based on Durham’s filings. The sub-head—“Special prosecutor lays out how Clinton campaign, lawyers, researchers and activists flooded government with allegations, hoping some might stick”—should dissuade local Democrats from giving any benefit of the doubt to their leaders, the FBI, the State Department, and the cable and network mouthpieces that willfully spewed deceitful propaganda.

What more do you need than the fact that DNC lawyer Sussman lied in writing to the FBI that he wasn’t acting on behalf of Clinton and the DNC? He was pretending to be a disinterested citizen with “concerning” info on ties between Trump and a Russian bank, and salacious “compromising” activities by Trump and his team. All fabricated with the intent of swaying public opinion via news leaks to help Hillary win. Failing Trump’s defeat, it barreled into his presidency as impeachment-worthy fodder for Democrats.

“Clinton Campaign, DNC Are Paying FEC Fines in an Effort to Bury Story: Kash Patel” (by Masooma Haq, Jan Jekielek): “The lead investigator for the House Intelligence Committee’s 2018 probe into the FBI’s investigation of alleged Trump–Russia collusion, Kash Patel, said the fact that the Hillary Clinton campaign is paying a penalty to Federal Election Commission (FEC) is an admittance of guilt. Clinton and the DNC are trying to bury the narrative and prevent more media coverage of these illegal activities, said Patel.” Boom, checkmate.

Devastating revelations from Hunter Biden’s “laptop from hell”: The laptop contents all-but-prove that the Biden family operated as a criminal pay-to-play, extortion and influence-peddling operation. The blatant cover-up of those revelations before the 2020 election constituted in-kind contributions that, by themselves, swung the election to Joe Biden. I’ve provided the numbers and they still stand.

For Republicans to win elections, they must eliminate vote fraud, ignoring “voter suppression” charges.

“Joe Biden Claims Ketanji Brown Jackson Was Put Through ‘Verbal Abuse…Anger…And Most Vile Baseless Assertions And Accusations’” by Tim Meads (Dailywire.com). More “gaslighting” and projection from real purveyors of “verbal abuse…anger…and most vile, baseless assertions and accusations”—Congressional Democrats. Do they think we’ve “memory-holed” their despicable, fallacious character assassinations of Supreme Court nominees Robert Bork, Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barret? The record’s clear: damnable lies used to impugn otherwise stellar candidates. Their only sin? Conservative principles.

Now-Justice Jackson was properly held accountable for overly-lenient sentences for child pornography offenses. Such judicial activism, stemming from the (often) lethally-misguided “criminal justice reform” movement, should have disqualified Jackson from being nominated. The Democrat Party (feel free to exempt yourself) is now officially soft-on-criminals, easy-on-sentencing, no-and-low bail, and get-out-of-jail-free obsessed.

Barack “Lightbringer” Obama got the band back together, overshadowing the irrelevant President-ish Joe Biden, to “expand” the failed (at “protecting patients” and providing “affordable care”) Obamacare. Basically, without a hint of embarrassment at having produced the “Lie of the year” about keeping doctors and health plans; without acknowledging that medical expenses, vastly higher than when it passed, are rising precisely because of the overly-generous subsidies and excessive regulation in the ACA—they’ll throw more money at it, increasing the pool of those using “other people’s money.”

They want socialism, not the free market. Result: More spending and lower life expectancy… “the ACA made individual market health insurance less affordable and introduced a generally inefficient set of subsidies…American life expectancy was lower in 2019 than it was in 2013, before the ACA’s coverage and spending provisions took effect.” (Paragon Health Institute’s Brian Blase, testifying to the House in February) Look up: “The HUGE lie from the Obama-Biden Obamacare event,” by Matt Vespa.

Anyone introducing sexual concepts, images, discussions and suggestions that minor children contemplate their sexual identity is, by definition, “grooming” said children for exploitation. Period.
