Much gratitude and “attaboys” to those whose expertise has this recipient of the medical wonder of an artificial knee getting around nearly as well as before the bone-on-bone and arthritis spurs had me hobbling like Grandpa McCoy (see “The Real McCoys” rural family sitcom).

First, kudos to perhaps the finest orthopedic surgeon in Northern California, Dr. Robert Chase, MD, at 2480 Sister Mary Columba Dr. His medically detailed diagnosis, explaining x-ray images and symptoms, was that I needed a new knee; unsurprising, as knee problems don’t heal themselves.

Not unlike back surgeries, time will tell how successful the procedure has been—many hours of physical therapy and home exercise remain. While the body has a marvelous ability to heal, the patient owns their recovery and rehab.

That brings me to the fine services of Physical Therapy Associates, 2150 Main St STE 14, in Adobe Plaza. While there are other providers in the area, Tim Beeman, PT put me through the right mix of physical exercises to restore my range-of-motion to the point where, less than 6 weeks post-surgery, my walking has little stiffness or restricted movement. Skiing should, with Dr. Chase’s approval, be a welcome event.

Readers, join me in burning our COVID-19 Vaccination Record Cards. You may have missed that, about 2 weeks ago, “CDC Ends COVID-19 Vaccination Cards” (Theepochtimes.com). “The pandemic-era proof-of-vaccination cards, which once determined who could participate in society, are ending.” Many Americans rejected the  “show me your papers” mentality, an anathema to free people.

Were despotic measures passed by your elected representatives? No, because we were told endlessly, on this page, in this paper and the news media that our nation was in an “emergency,” with mortal threats to you and everyone you know, even those less than 6-feet from you.

The inconvenient scientific fact was that, outside of elderly people, or anyone with compromised underlying health conditions, COVID posed little threat of hospitalization or death—approaching zero for children and the young. Not convenient for the unstated agenda of inducing unquestioning compliance.

The stultifying, economy-killing “emergency pandemic policies” are best forgotten, like any other disaster—this one being self-imposed on an otherwise free citizenry by officials and authorities who didn’t question those above them in the hierarchy. It was a “beta test” to see if an unprecedented, society-wide, top-down regimen could be imposed on nations throughout the world—complete with sanctions and recriminations for the “non-compliant.”

Was forced incarceration of infected in “concentration facilities,” as happened in Australia, a step too far? Or just seeing what would be tolerated? Could modern, supposedly-intelligent and educated people be subjected to losing jobs, church attendance, public safety and military positions, their children’s essential education, their right to “assemble to petition the government for redress of grievances”—even their First Amendment Free Speech? All based on lies.

Those in charge of the police, the judges, the jails, and unelected bureaucrats with administrative powers said “Yes, just try and stop us.”

Our initial vaccinations and boosters were advised by our age and conditions—just being prudent—but it was a firm “hell, no” to all the subsequent shots, boosters and attendant anxiety. We’re living free from such worry and angst over something our bodies have been infected with, and recovered from, for many decades.

Given that “Only 2% of Americans have gotten updated Coronavirus booster shots” (Breitbart.com), people may be getting wise to the endless pokes, for endless variations, for what amounts to endless profits for pharmaceutical companies. I have nothing against flu shots—they were logical when I was across a restaurant counter, or real estate desk, or in a car with anyone who walked in. I now know how to boost my own immune system and treat infections as they arise.

It's worth recounting the misrepresentations, myths and, well, lies that were foisted on us under color of authority and “science.”

Sen. Rand Paul: “Everything that Anthony Fauci and his cohorts, these other virologists were saying publicly, they were saying the opposite privately. Then it turns out that many of the people that were appointed to be part of this all had quiet interests that they weren’t willing to reveal. Including Anthony Fauci. When I asked him directly under oath whether or not he was receiving royalties from any of the companies manufacturing vaccines, he refused to answer. When I asked him whether anybody on the committee was receiving royalties he lashed out and accused me of something but would never answer the question.”

As I see it, the “Big Lie” from the start was that Dr. Fauci knew he was responsible for funding the “gain of function” research at the Wuhan Laboratory in China, and that, through lab leaks or otherwise, the COVID-19 virus came from that lab into an unsuspecting world. Were there intentions to bring about world-wide infection and totalitarian responses, if only as an experiment? Make up your own mind. More to come.
