Amity Shlaes wrote a great piece in May that cogently and concisely reveals the "personal destruction" visited upon any conservative, national, blogger or, in my case, when I was writing opinion and providing inconvenient facts and information that didn't praise Obama/Dems. Character assassination and vicious insults and ad hominem attacks are the stock-in-trade for the left as a substitute for actually dealing with facts and coherent arguments.
