NYT Op-Ed Drops a New Name for Trump's Immigration Enforcement Agenda. It's Embarrassing.

NYT Op-Ed Drops a New Name for Trump's Immigration Enforcement Agenda. It's Embarrassing.

AP Photo/Alastair Grant

Not only is this New York Times op-ed insulting to black people, it’s historically illiterate. It does accomplish the catchy soundbite initiative, which was probably the objective here, but it’s beyond laughable. Behold, folks, we’re in the ‘Juan Crow’ era. That’s right—enforcing generations of immigration laws is now ‘Juan Crow.’ I mean, if you can get through this insanity, power to you:

In its merciless pursuit of people without papers — most of them Latino — and its demonization of asylum seekers, refugees, holders of temporary protected status, Muslims and Palestinian rights activists, the Trump administration is accelerating toward a new, modern nadir of Juan Crow, just downstream of Jim and Jane.

When a sitting U.S. senator refers to New York immigrants as “inner-city rats,” when a Florida governor waxes rapturously about the “Alligator Alcatraz” immigrant detention center, when a presidential administration takes two months to dismantle decades of civil rights law, we must admit that these are acts in a feature presentation of neo-Confederate revanchism targeting brown and Black people. The targeting of the undocumented has a name, after all, based in ugly history and shameful tradition: Juan Crow.

The phrase was popularized by the journalist Roberto Lovato to describe the “matrix of laws, social customs, economic institutions and symbolic systems” that isolate and control undocumented immigrants. The domestic policies of the Trump administration have taken this legacy to a more dangerous place.

The policies of this administration reinstate an era in which the rights conferred to all people in the United States by the Constitution are subject to a sliding scale of extralegal violability depending on one’s race, ethnicity or assumed immigration status. Tom Homan, the so-called border czar, has said that Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents don’t “need probable cause to walk up to somebody, briefly detain them and question them.” The administration has created a hostile, systematic stripping of basic dignities that works in concert with stymying official methods people are meant to use to seek relief and redress for governmental abuse.

The rest is pseudointellectual drivel. It truly goes off the rails, which you could likely guess when these people whine about how our laws and systems are hell for those who shouldn’t be here.

It’s supposed to be harder for illegal aliens, you clowns. It’s nothing new. History did not begin in 2024, and to equate immigration enforcement to institutionalized racism of the Jim Crow era that targeted Black Americans, who were citizens, is beyond outrageous. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, along with other law enforcement agencies, are booting people who aren’t citizens, who broke the law coming here illegally, and they’re going. One way or another, they’re going. It’s not Juan Crow—it’s the enforcement of the law in this area, which has been an ongoing exercise since forever.

The line “a sliding scale of extralegal violability depending on one’s race” shows the depths of how insane the Left has become on this issue. No one has the right to come here. They can rant all they want, but white progressives are mad that their pool of slave labor is being deported, and their political life’s blood is being desanguinated from our shores. We all know the deal: Democrats want unfettered open borders to overload our country, increase the population, which means increased congressional apportionment, represented by liberals of the same ethnic background. It’s why at least one-third of the entire House Democratic caucus comes from three states.

Just truly amazing stuff.

The GOP Needs to Man Up and Gerrymander

The GOP Needs to Man Up and Gerrymander

AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite

Gerrymandering is good, and we need more of it. It’s especially beneficial because mid-census cycle gerrymandering, currently being executed in red states, is likely to increase the number of Republican House seats significantly. Democrats object to this on purely moral grounds that they’ve already massively gerrymandered blue states, and therefore, this would hurt them, thus making it bad for Republicans to do it. We should laugh at them and shaft them as hard as we can.

Gerrymandering means creating sometimes bizarrely shaped legislative districts designed to make it more likely to elect a member of a particular party. Contrary to the conventional wisdom of unwise people, there is nothing wrong with doing that. It’s a moral necessity. It’s a good thing. The states decide on their own districts, and they should decide that the way that they decide everything else. That is, they should do it in the way that the winning political party wants – majority rule. Yes, they can leverage it so that the out party gets less representation in the House of Representatives. So what? We have to decide on district boundaries somehow, and we ought to decide on them through votes. And we should vote in our self-interest.

This is where the fake do-gooders start whining like little princesses. They tell us that we’re supposed to put politics aside. Except we’re not. What they mean is that we’re supposed to put the choices of the majority of voters aside and redistrict the way the whining people want us to do. I prefer we do it my way.

We should be celebrating enforcing our self-interest, but there is no objective way to do it regardless. Some states have what they claim are independent commissions to draw the lines, and shockingly, to no one who isn’t a drooling halfwit who licks windows for the taste, these allegedly independent commissions are always taken over by the parties and used to their advantage. Why are we surprised by this? Well, we aren’t surprised by it – stupid, naïve people who have zero understanding of human nature are surprised by it, or at least pretend to be.

Gerrymandering is a political act. There’s nothing wrong with that. Politics is the way that we allocate the costs and benefits of government, and the idea that there’s going to be some sort of neutral referee out there who divides up the costs and benefits of government without regard to self-interest is utterly ridiculous. This is the fetish of the progressive technocrats, the guys who believe that neutral experts are going to take self-interest out of government and rule on the basis of objectivity. Yeah, no. There’s no such thing as objectivity in politics. Remember all those neutral, objective technocrats during Covid? Me neither. That’s why the Framers were so wise – they understood that human nature means people will pursue their own self-interest. The only way to curb the resulting excesses is to create effective political checks and balances. The progressive technocrat ideal seeks to remove checks and balances because they hinder technocrat advocates from achieving their goals. When people say, “This issue should not be political,” they mean they want to decide the issue without your input. It doesn’t take a genius to notice how the objective technocrats always conclude that we must enact the policy that the people who love objective technocrats happen to want.

Weird how that happens. Have you ever noticed how the people insisting that we need to listen to the climate scientists about climate change already support all the remedies the climate scientists come up with? I mean, how lucky is that – climate change is such an emergency that it must trump politics as usual and enact all these policies that the people pushing climate change have always wanted anyway. What are the chances?

About 100%.

And it’s the same with this gerrymandering thing. Anyone who tells you he is mad about gerrymandering and that it is unfair and wrong and blah blah blah blah blah really wants a different gerrymander – one that benefits him. I live in California. We have 54 representatives, at least until the next census, when the exodus from what was once the Golden State and is now the Poo on the Sidewalk State will likely cost us several seats. About 40% of California’s vote is Republican, but we’ve got about 18% of the House seats. By the whiners’ standards, that’s unfair, though our independent redistricting commission was supposed to make things not unfair. No one should be surprised that a heavily Democrat state gerrymandered the districts to the nth degree. I wouldn’t expect anything else, because I understand human nature.

But the red states, because red states are often run by feminine Republicans with spines of tofu, have not done so, except in cases like Florida, where Ron DeSantis forced the GOP femboys to sack up and gerrymander the state. He intends to gerrymander it even harder soon. Awesome. Now, Donald Trump is pushing the rest of the red states to do so as well. They should. They should gerrymander as hard as they possibly can. This will match the Democrats, who have already gerrymandered their states as hard as they possibly can.

The Democrats are big mad because they know they are vulnerable to red states sacking up. Their fake moral appeals have failed – it’s kind of hard to argue that it’s morally wrong for the Republicans to do what the Democrats have done, so they’ve moved on to a campaign of intimidation. They’re threatening to redistrict in states like California, to which the Republicans should say, “Go ahead.” California and the other blue states are already as gerrymandered in favor of the Democrats as they safely can be. They could do more, but there’s a risk. The Democrats could dummymander the map. That means they could design districts with much smaller margins in the Democrats’ favor, thereby making them vulnerable in blow-out GOP election cycles. A representative wants a D+10 district, not a D+2 district. So, they face a conundrum. The Democrats might get a couple more nominally Democrat seats, but also put four or five districts at risk during a GOP wave. In other words, their threat is not that threatening.

There’s another factor, which is the existence of manifestly unconstitutional Voting Rights Act districts. There are a bunch of VRA districts in the South that existing federal law basically requires be designed to elect minority representatives. The underlying idea is that a black person can only be represented by a black Democrat. Well, this appalling and alien idea is repugnant to our Constitution, and there’s a decent chance that SCOTUS will punt it. In fact, the Southern states should redistrict these abominations out of existence and give SCOTUS the chance to repudiate this appalling and disgusting racist idea by eliminating the VRA districts. Let Mark Elias sue. He’s likely to lose, and that would mean the Democrats would lose maybe a half-dozen seats. Oh well.

It’s gerrymandering season, and there’s no bag limit. We’re under no obligation to play footsie with these people. Giving up representation to these aspiring communists is not the moral thing to do. In fact, it demonstrates the moral illiteracy of the Fredocons who prioritize an ideal of amorphous niceness over being men and doing what is right to preserve our country and our people. Democrats taking power means, at best, decline and, at worst, dictatorship – as I highlight in my new novel, American Apocalypse: The Second Civil War. It’s time to joyously gerrymander them good and hard.

Gerrymandering is good, both because it is honest, democratic, and comports with human nature. When you have the power, you should use it to your advantage. You should do so without apology. Yes, the people who win power in elections are going to have more benefits than the people who don’t. This isn’t a bug. This is a feature. We need to stop listening to the whining and get down to the business of winning.

Tulsi Gabbard 'Is Lying' Says Ex-CIA Official Who Oversaw Russian Intelligence on the 2016 Elections

Tulsi Gabbard 'Is Lying' Says Ex-CIA Official Who Oversaw Russian Intelligence on the 2016 Elections

AP Photo/Alex Brandon

Add retired CIA counterintelligence chief Susan Miller to the wagon circle protecting former President Barack Obama and former CIA Director John Brennan. Miller is one of the officials who oversaw the 2017 assessment on the 2016 elections, tasked with determining whether there was credible Russian interference. Over the weekend, Miller has taken to the usual legacy media claiming that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and President Donald Trump are lying to suit their own purposes. In other words, another day ending in "Y."

Of course, Miller ran to legacy media outlet NBC News to share her thoughts on this development (emphasis added):

The former senior CIA officer who helped oversee the 2017 intelligence assessment on Russia’s interference in the 2016 election says Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and the White House are “lying” when they claim that it was an attempt to sabotage President Donald Trump.

Susan Miller, a retired CIA officer who helped lead the team that produced the report about Russia’s actions during the 2016 campaign, told NBC News it was based on credible information that showed Moscow sought to help Trump win the election, but that there was no sign of a conspiracy between the Kremlin and the Trump campaign.

However, that is not what the final report submitted alleged, which is part of the bone that Gabbard and Trump have to pick. What was engineered by Obama and pushed by Brennan, Clapper and the rest of the nefarious intelligence and FBI actors was that Trump colluded with Russia to steal the 2016 election from Hillary Clinton. The legacy media and all those parties allowed that fraudulent report to be treated as gospel and dissected and reported on nine ways to Sunday. Yet, Miller bypasses the Russia Hoax that sucked the oxygen out of the news cycle for four years and helped derail Trump 45 and his presidency. This hoax would not have had any life if not for Miller's supposedly standard and "dispassionate" report.

Instead, Miller parrots the Democrat talking points that these allegations from DNI Gabbard are mere conspiracy theories and that Gabbard and Trump are lying... again.

“The director of national intelligence and the White House are lying, again,” Miller said. “We definitely had the intel to show with high probability that the specific goal of the Russians was to get Trump elected.”

She added: “At the same time, we found no two-way collusion between Trump or his team with the Russians at that time.”

One needs a pretty sharp razor to keep splitting that hair. Miller added,

Miller said “it is clear that Trump and his followers have a script they want to follow, despite the facts.”

Mmmkay. Miller appeared Friday on CNN's "The Source with Kaitlan Collins" and defended her team's work on the intelligence, stanning for her then-boss John Brennan and claiming they were told to be "dispassionate" and just submit the credible intelligence that was found. Miller further claimed that her team did not want the Steele Dossier included in the assessment and that Brennan was not the one who insisted on including the dossier in the report.

Really?!

Miller alleged it was the FBI who wanted it included, and that she was forced to add it as an annex to the report for the FBI to sign off on it.

Miller is an alumna of California Polytechnic University. It is curious timing that on July 1, Cal Poly's school paper the "Mustang" did a puff piece on her.

In that Mustang piece it claimed:

She served nine times overseas and eventually rose to become the CIA’s Chief of Counterintelligence, where in 2016, she authored the initial report proving the Russians interfered in the 2016 election in an attempt to sway the presidential election in Donald Trump’s favor. She was grilled for eight hours during the historic Barr-Durham trial in which President Trump pressured the then-attorney general into pressing criminal charges against her.

Now that she has retired — and retains the same security clearance as the U.S. president minus the nuclear stuff — Miller reached out to Mustang News to share her story and explain how a young woman from Sunnyvale would go on to an adventurous and decorated career as a CIA agent.

Can you say, "Axe to grind," boys and girls? And why under heaven does she still have a security clearance at all, let alone at the highest level?! Later in the article, Miller brought up the Russian intelligence, and blamed Trump for his conspiratorial mind that could turn basic intelligence into a witch hunt.

Uh-huh.

The standard analytic report became a political lightning rod. When Trump was briefed by the director of the CIA, he was not happy, Miller said. Both Miller and [her deputy, Sheetal] Patel said Trump saw the report as a “deep state” conspiracy and a “witch hunt,” instructing his attorney general to criminally charge those involved in compiling it.

That meant Miller and Patel.

Miller was dragged into an eight-hour interrogation about her methods for crafting the paper targeted at discerning political bias. The investigation eventually found none and she never officially heard from them again.

Whispers of Trump trying to prosecute them again have haunted Miller and Patel. Just a few months ago the report’s name surfaced again.

“That’s just the gift that keeps giving,” Patel said of the papers.

Apparently, if she's able to now garner legacy media appearances from it. Does Miller plan to run for California governor? Brennan is the one in the crosshairs, not her. So, if it was a basic, paint-by-numbers report, she could have chosen to remain in the woodwork since essentially, she's not the one feeling the heat. So, why resurface and choose to call DNI Gabbard and Trump liars?

Two reasons revealed in the Mustang article: She is slated to receive an award for her unsung intelligence work and she is slated to be the keynote speaker for a Cal Poly Journalism school event.

Miller is set to receive the Hidden Hero Award from the International Spy Museum in D.C. come November, recognizing those who make “outsized contributions to the Intelligence Community yet have gone relatively unrecognized for their work,” the website says. She’s also attending Cal Poly Journalism’s Mustang Media Fest in October as a keynote speaker.

Also recently uncovered, this July 17 Times Radio London podcast on which Miller appeared. Miller once again brings up the 2016 Russian intel and how Trump threatened to put her and her team in jail.

WATCH:

It is very interesting that these ex-intelligence officials love to go overseas to render their assessments. Of course, to Miller, all roads lead to Ukraine and that big, bad Trump refuses to fully support this money-laundering conflict. It all ties together.

Miller jumping in with two big feet, adding her voice to the chorus of "Gabbard is a liar, Trump is delusional and trying to deflect from Epstein," is transparent, weak, and more proof that they are trying to rewrite history because the truth has them running scared.

Gavin Newsom All but Says He's Running for President, Breaks Out the Violent 'Fire With Fire' Rhetoric

Gavin Newsom All but Says He's Running for President, Breaks Out the Violent 'Fire With Fire' Rhetoric

AP Photo/Noah Berger

Increasingly desperate Democrats have resorted to extensive profanity and incendiary rhetoric in recent months as they try to regain some sort of relevance. Their approval numbers are falling into the Mariana Trench, and their failure to “stop” Trump (and the will of the American voters) becomes more pronounced by the day.

Extremist California Gavin Newsom has been trying to gain from the party crisis, appearing on every podcast that will have him, travelling to the early primary state of South Carolina in a move that does nothing to benefit hurting Californians, and pontificating in front of any camera he can find about the dangers Trump poses to Democracy.

Rarely does he mention his horrific record in California, where residents and businesses have been fleeing in historic numbers in recent years and the state’s biggest cities plunge into dystopian scenes of looting, drug use, and homelessness.

Gov. Podcast—er, Newsom—appeared on yet another internet talkfest Friday, this time with Democrat cheerleader Brian Tyler Cohen, and he ramped up his rhetoric to 11 as he vowed to fight his nemesis Donald Trump.

Time to light the torches:

If we want to still be in this game, we need to disabuse ourselves, disenthrall ourselves of the status quo in the past. We have got to enter a new mindset, and we've got to get back on this playing field, and we've got to do with the kind of vigor that our kids and grandkids deserve, that liberty and freedom deserves [in] this moment. The Founding Fathers deserve, the principles that find the best of Roman Republican and Greek democracy.

Roman Republican and Greek democracy? Is this guy trying to run California, or audition for the debate team?

No more Mr. Nice Guy, the expertly coiffed governor threatened—it’s time to go on offense:

That's on the line unless we stand the line, and stand guard at this democracy, and that means we got to go an offense. No more defense, go on offense—fight fire with fire.

Longtime political junkies will remember that the media and the Democrats vilified former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s use of a crosshairs image in a campaign website graphic to highlight that she wanted to “target” former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-AZ) in an election. Giffords was tragically shot (but survived), and although no link between the graphic and the shooting was ever established, the press came very close to outright accusing Palin of causing attempted murder.

And yet here’s Newsom, flat out saying it’s time to fight with fire. His media acolytes will probably laud him as a ”warrior,” because the double standard is truly that bad.

This next part, meanwhile, is open to interpretation: to me, it sure does sound like he’s basically saying he’s running for president without quite using those exact words:

So you asked me, am I in? I'm all in. You ask me, I'm committed, I'm all in, committed and resolved. And so this is not a bluff. This is a moment to be held to a higher level of accountability.

He’s better with words than fellow Californian Kamala Harris—I’ll give him that. The problem he will continue to face, however, is that he is very, very bad with results. I hope he finds that out over and over again when JD Vance or whoever his opponent is, should he run for election, reminds him of that for breakfast, lunch and dinner—and an extra time at dessert for good measure. He has utterly failed California, and the last thing this nation needs is his extremist vision at the pinnacles of power.

The Courts Must Decide

The Courts Must Decide

Spencer Brown/Townhall

“First off, the court system is the process for determining whether the person is here legally or not” (quote from some low-IQ Democrat, probably an Ivy League professor, on “X”).

So, somebody breaks into your house. You can’t kick him out.  He is now your “guest,” maybe even “dreaming.” You have to feed, clothe, and shelter him, at your own expense, until the courts decide whether he is illegally there or not. Read the quote above again. The “court system” is what determines if a person is doing something illegal.

I pull out a gun and blow your brains out for no reason other than I’m a communist.  Can we determine that what I did was illegal, or must we wait for the courts to decide if it was illegal?  I confess I’m not a lawyer, but I always thought premeditated murder was illegal, was breaking the law, and that everybody knew that.  And that we didn’t need a judge to tell us it was.  That breaking and entering somebody’s home was illegal, and the homeowner had the right to defend their property and kick the lawbreaker out.  I always thought (I’m so naïve) that laws are laws, that most of them are pretty clearly written, and that the normal, average, everyday moron could understand most of them.

But Democrats are not your “normal, average, every day moron.”  They are a special breed of moron.

I forget the details, and I’m too lazy to look them up, but didn’t somebody break into Nancy Pelosi’s San Francisco home not so long ago and threaten her husband? Something like that?  Nancy, was that illegal, or was the guy there to “pick your crops”? If he was there for the latter reason, and even if he wasn’t, how dare you claim he committed a crime? Did the court have to tell you that what he did was illegal?

Folks, the Democratic Party is desperate. Because they have given their party over to a cadre of far left-wing, radical, perverted, hate-America Marxists, and because that element of America is still not the majority of the population, they are losing voters in droves everywhere, except probably in California and New York City. And maybe in Chicago, where nobody can read or do math anymore. They need voters, they love and lust for power, and they have turned off the majority of the American people. What can they do?

What they do is try to find any excuse to allow the millions of illegal aliens they let into the country to STAY in the country. Tragically, some brain-dead Republicans are helping them. They let them in for a reason, folks, and it wasn’t to “pick our crops,” as Nancy, in her elitist, racist way, said.  To the Democratic Party leadership, this illegal alien question has never been about “compassion” or “giving refuge to oppressed people.” It has been, is, and always will be totally political. All through the 20th century, the vast majority of people who were forced to live under communism and other tyrannies never voted for it, not until a gun was put to their head and they were compelled to—if they were allowed to vote for anything at all, which they usually weren’t. But some communist countries DID hold an election or two—until they discovered the huge majority of voters didn’t want communism. So, they took over by force, and thus, so much for elections in these wonderful “people’s republics.”

The Democrats can’t win enough elections now to take over the country. They got power in 2020, put their radical scheme into action in the Biden administration, but were soundly rejected in 2024, and most of Mr. Trump’s agenda is proving to be pretty popular among the majority of Americans now, including the deportation of illegals.

But the Democrats MUST have the illegals. Either that, or come back to normality and give up their most cherished, licentious, perverted, anti-American beliefs. And they aren’t going to do the latter. So, import the illegals, keep them here, give them amnesty, then citizenship and the right to vote, and voila! A majority of Democratic Party voters are imported from the rest of the world. And they are coming up with any and every excuse they can think of, regardless of how stupid, to try to persuade a majority of the American people that the illegals ought to stay.  It hasn’t worked yet, but mind you, they will NEVER give up trying. Because a Leftist never gives up his cause. It’s his religion. He’ll die for it, but kill you first if he can.

So, according to the new Democratic Party mantra, illegals have to have a trial before they can be deported, and we taxpayers have to feed, clothe, and shelter them in the meantime. We can’t protect our homeland from illegal entry—not according to Democrats. You can’t protect your home from an illegal entrant. You have to treat him as a guest, let him dream, let him mop the floors (if he will), you must feed, clothe, and shelter him with your own money, and you can’t call the cops and get him kicked out. Not until the court says you can. Eight billion people can come to America illegally, but we can’t deport a single one of them till the American taxpayer gives them a trial.  Because, you see, only the courts can tell us who is breaking the law.

The Chinese army invades America. But only the courts can determine if they are “legally” in the country or not. And we must give every Chinese soldier a trial before we can use our military to drive him out.

That’s the Democratic Party now. I wonder how many of them would help the Chinese army if they DID invade America.

During President Trump's first term, the fake stream media continually sprang new lies about him, fueled by a corrupt Obama and then Biden regime. Half of America had no idea that they were constantly being hoodwinked. With Tulsi Gabbard’s current findings, justice might actually prevail in this nation, but don’t count on the fake stream media to honestly illuminate any of the issues.

No Let Up

After nearly four years of masking Joe Biden’s incapacities and then getting busted, you’d think that today the media might wind down their hoax machine. No way.

The daily, lengthy list of hoaxes by fake stream media and Leftists represents a new low, if that’s possible. Beyond the hoaxes from 2016 to 2024 now being fully exposed, below are two dozen of the hundreds of false news items designed to disrupt Trump’s second term and to besmirch the character and reputation of his cabinet members and staff:

 Lies for the Taking

Half of America, even highly educated people, fall for this baloney every day. Why? They are constantly fed lies. Concurrently, the dupes will not investigate beyond their “trusted” go-to “news” sources.

Ignorance is not bliss; it is harmful to our nation.
