How about Family or Military Month
This column’s position is that parents who care for surrounding their children with positive, life-affirming experiences should have the good sense to keep them as far away from “Pride” events as possible, including whatever passed for such an event locally. The ad I saw listed “drag queen” displays. Kinda proves my point “donchaknow.” Tried and true saying: Keep it to yourselves, behind closed doors.
If local retail shops reflect the wider trend, “gay” and other displays of self-styled “sex change” paraphernalia are absent; the business side of America is finding that people not under the sway of gender confusion have no use for such perversions. No one is born in the “wrong body.”
“Pride Month is Going Down—Finally” (by Josh Slocum, wokespy.com). “Pride goeth before a fall—or does it? Looks like America is finally getting fed up with the bacchanal that’s been called ‘Pride Month’ for about 10 years. It didn’t used to be called that, and it didn’t used to be a month.”
“EXCLUSIVE: GOP Resolution Declares June ‘Family Month’ Instead Of ‘Pride Month’—We reject the lie of ‘Pride’ and instead honor God's timeless and perfect design.’” (by Mary Margaret Olohan, Dailywire.com). Others have suggested calling it “Military Month,” as it begins with the anniversary of the D-Day invasion of France resulting in the retaking of Europe from the abomination of Nazi Germany’s onslaught.
We did have a magnificent military parade in Washington, DC, to rightfully focus on the only reason we don’t speak German or Japanese: America’s military might and the selfless, warrior ethic of men and women who serve in the Armed Forces.

Content and opinion censorship is still alive in the “blogosphere.” A post I put on Donpolson.blogspot.com was removed for the made-up reason that it transgressed “Blogger’s” self-styled “community policy.”
The article was titled “Biden Officials KNEW COVID Vaccine Caused Heart Damage and Hid It From the Public” (Hotair.com, 5/22). I re-posted it with the statement that the substance of the article was sourced to, and substantiated by, a report by Senator Ron Johnson (R-WI):
“Top federal health officials actively took steps to ‘delay warning the public’ for months in 2021 about the potential risks of heart-related complications from receiving mRNA COVID-19 vaccines, a scathing interim report from Sen. Ron Johnson’s office alleges.” You can search the article by its title.
I can only conclude that, 5 years after the hysteria and non-scientific responses to the COVID pandemic—masking, 6-foot distancing, canceled outdoor and business events, school closures, nursing home isolation from families, mandatory vaccinations—it rubs the “Cov-idiots” the wrong way over the fact that the vaccines caused harm, massive in some cases. They should always have had warnings and advisories to consult one’s physician about possible side effects, just like other advertised pharmaceutical drugs.

Some related news items: “Gynecologist Comes to Grips With the Effects of Her Gender-Affirming Care” (Brett T. at Twitchy.com, with links). Long story short (keeping it family-friendly), the gynecologist who goes by the name of “The Ob/Gyn Power Project” on Substack (obgynpower.com), recounts, with some joy, the “gender-affirming” (aka “sex change”) hysterectomies she performed.
“I had just assumed somebody, somewhere was in charge of making sure that there was an evidence base that these extraordinary treatments that were being performed on young people—puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and double mastectomy—were supported by extraordinary scientific evidence that showed an incontrovertible long-term benefit...I have not seen extraordinary evidence.”
Perhaps because there simply is no evidence at all. Perhaps, she suspects, she sterilized a bunch of mentally unwell young women, irreversibly interfering in a condition that deserved counseling, and being allowed to become an adult before undertaking radical treatments.

I won’t blame you for skipping this last item as it is disturbing and disgusting, but it really happened in SoCal. “‘Satanic BDSM Expert’ Invited As CA School Speaker, Parents Not Informed” by Ward Clark (Redstate.com, May 28).
“Parents are demanding answers after a self-described ‘science of BDSM’ expert from a clinic providing trans surgeries and representatives from organizations that help facilitate gender transitions [DP: sex change] were scheduled to speak at a California high school during a recent week of events supporting LGBTQ students.
“In late March, parents started speaking out against a decision to allow Mita Beach, a self-described BDSM (bondage, discipline, sadism, masochism) expert, and representative of DAP Health, a medical clinic that provides [sex change] surgeries, to deliver remarks at Sage Creek High School in Carlsbad, California. during a lunchtime event in the cafeteria open to all students.” (Realclearpolitics.com)
I’m sure readers recoil at such astonishingly perverse actions—by public school officials. Could it be that “There Is No ‘Neutralizing’ the Left's Rabid Trans Activism” (by Amy Curtis, May 30)? Take heart; “normal America” is prevailing but we cannot let our guard down.
