FBI Whistleblowers Slam Dem Rep. for Mourning Fired Feds, Ignoring Whistleblowers

FBI Whistleblowers Slam Dem Rep. for Mourning Fired Feds, Ignoring Whistleblowers

Former FBI agents are calling out a Democrat congressman for going hysterical about the Trump administration’s federal bureaucracy cuts, even though he previously had no interest in supporting whistleblowers fired for exposing government corruption.

“Hypocrisy” and “Democrat” are synonyms, and Rep. Dan Goldman (D-N.Y.) — formerly the lead counsel in Donald Trump’s first bogus impeachment — is proving that once again. His newfound concern for fired federal workers certainly did not apply to whistleblowers like the Suspendables, nor, as a matter of fact, to federal employees fired for not getting the COVID-19 vaccine.

Goldman is perhaps empathetic to the newly fired federal employees because, like them, he has long been a useless leech sucking up taxpayer dollars while undermining our constitutional freedoms.

“Federal government employees are generally outstanding public servants who often give up jobs with higher salaries to do vital work that Americans rely on,” Goldman hysterically declared on X. “It’s disgusting to see the disdain and disrespect with which Elon Musk and Donald Trump treat these true patriots.”

No doubt the USAID workers who arranged drag shows and DEI musicals overseas or helped get cash to Islamic terrorists were noble public servants in Goldman’s eyes, but the majority of the American people support the much-needed cuts to our bloated and unaffordable bureaucracy. Another group not impressed by Goldman’s nonsense are the FBI whistleblowers known as the “Suspendables.”

For Our VIPsUSAID Shows That Government Really IS the Problem

Whistleblower Garret O’Boyle posted a video clip of him sparring with Goldman during his congressional testimony with the blunt comment, “Shut up, Dan. You despise real patriots. Remember when you had me, @RealStevefriend, and @praywithmarcus in front of you? You weren't talking about patriotism then. I know, you try to forget because of this.”

Steve Friend and Marcus Allen are O’Boyle’s fellow FBI whistleblowers, and Friend reshared O’Boyle’s criticism of Goldman. Friend also replied to Goldman, “FBI agents earn $135k-$170k and get 50 days off per year. Most never arrest a criminal.”

Goldman is as crooked as a corkscrew and as biased as a CNN anchor. He is also a blatant hypocrite. He doesn’t care about truly excellent federal employees, those who take their oath to the Constitution seriously; he just wants to bash the Trump administration for halting the taxpayer-funded gravy train.

Thank goodness Kash Patel is the new director of the FBI so that he can ensure the sort of persecution the Suspendables suffered for trying to expose corruption does not happen again.

Top O' the Briefing

Happy Tuesday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Lerzweinel was never comfortable with the clogging demands made on him during the annual "Pomegranates and Fedoras" festival.

There are a lot of recurring themes here in the early, whirlwind days of President Trump's second term. One of them is that the Democrats are more pathetic than most people after an election loss.

American presidential politics don't see a lot of one-party winning streaks. Franklin D. Roosevelt was an anomaly, and we've shored up the rules since then. Anyway, a regular voter will get used to not having his or her candidate win. It's a regular part of the life of an average American citizen. We learn to live with it and move on.

Well, some of us do.

The Democrats invested so much hate and tomfoolery (I'm being kind; it probably won't last) in attempting to prevent the Trump 47 era from ever happening that the loss they suffered last November has broken them just a smidge. The condition is of course compounded by the fact that they weren't mentally well before Trump kicked them to the curb.

They've decided to consign themselves to an emotional and intellectual gulag where they can pass around the sharing stick and vent their spleens about the man who's been the monster under their beds for almost a decade. They don't need to be there; they choose to. The more they lie about President Trump, the darker their world gets.

The stories that they are telling themselves about President Trump are designed to be both attacks and comforts, and they end up being neither. I'm reading some absolutely wild stuff on my daily jaunts through the opinion sections of the New York Times and the Washington Post, none of which bears any resemblance to the world in which we live.

Dispirited Democrats are also lashing out via lawfare because that worked out so well for them last year. That's a dark road that they don't need to go down, but they're committed to it. They may feel brief moments of excitement when a lawsuit is filed or a stay is issued on an executive order, but that will eventually lead to disappointment.

Over at Townhall, my friend Matt Vespa wrote about the Associate Press losing the first round of its legal battle with Trump. And at HotAir, Ed Morrissey has a post about MSNBC's legal analyst delivering some tough news to his colleagues. There's a lot of high-fiving on the Left whenever a judge issues a temporary stay to one of Trump's executive orders. That's not really the cause for celebration that they think it is:

This is why the idea that the Trump administration will collapse is absurd. First, Trump isn't even losing on the stays consistently. The first few forays threw up some roadblocks, but judges have relented on some of those now too. As MSNBC's legal analyst Danny Cevallo points out, none of these stays addresses the merits of the dispute, and Trump is likely to win most of those, with the likely exception being the challenge to birthright citizenship.

The Dems are setting themselves up for disappointment, but they seem to be enjoying that these days. Because they won't be honest about anything when it comes to Trump, they're continually banging their heads against even his most wildly popular policies. They're not picking their fights wisely, and that's not going to work out well for them.

I'm on board with Democrats keeping themselves unhappy. OK, mostly on board. Their ravings about the alt-universe America that Dark Lord Trump is trampling over are getting a bit wearisome. Their misery is only going to get worse when they start realizing that not that many people are experiencing it. Sarah wrote a post for us yesterday that covers some polling numbers that would send any Trump hater to a fainting couch.

All I know is that I'm glad that I don't live in the America that the 2025 Democrats do. The sun shines a lot in this one, and we like what our president is up to. We're not keeping anyone out, either. Not anyone who's law-abiding, anyway. The Democrats are voluntarily staying in their ever-shrinking, sad little corner.

As long as they keep the noise down at night, they can stay there as long as they want to.

Elon Musk Has ‘Cracked the Code’ on Government Secrecy

Elon Musk Has ‘Cracked the Code’ on Government Secrecy

AP Photo/Jose Luis Magana

As you know, the media is still trying to drive a wedge between Donald Trump and Elon Musk in an attempt to undermine not only Trump’s second term but also Musk’s efforts with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which is saving taxpayers billions of dollars targeting wasteful spending.

Over the weekend, Trump posted on Truth Social that while Musk is “doing a great job,” he’d like to see him “get more aggressive” because “we have a country to save.”

“ELON IS DOING A GREAT JOB, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HIM GET MORE AGGRESSIVE,” Trump wrote (all caps in the original). “REMEMBER, WE HAVE A COUNTRY TO SAVE, BUT ULTIMATELY, TO MAKE GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE. MAGA!”

We may see more aggressive efforts very, very soon. On Monday, House Speaker Mike Johnson declared that Elon Musk has “cracked the code” in exposing the federal government’s hidden activities and suggested that his efforts could revolutionize government transparency.

“The problem is, for decades, as we know, we haven’t been able to do that job well, because even though we requested the data and requested the insight, it was hidden,” Johnson explained. “How many of you know that bureaucracy was not forthcoming? Right? They’re not transparent. That’s the whole point. That’s the problem. That’s the Deep State we talk about.”

RelatedFormer Top Biden Advisor Claims Democratic Party ‘Lost Its Mind,’ But You Won’t Believe Why

“So they were hiding from Congress. We didn’t know that USAID was funding drag shows in Peru or whatever, you know, transgender operas in Colombia or whatever. You know, it’s madness. But Elon has cracked the code. He is now inside the agencies,” Johnson continued. “He’s created these algorithms that are constantly crawling through the data. And as he told me in his office, the data doesn’t lie.”

Johnson argued that for decades, Congress has struggled to conduct proper oversight because the federal bureaucracy has actively concealed information.

“Even though we requested the data and requested the insight, it was hidden,” he said. “How many of you know that bureaucracy was not forthcoming? Right? They’re not transparent. That’s the whole point. That’s the problem. That’s the deep state we talk about.”

As an example, Johnson pointed to U.S. tax dollars funding questionable programs overseas.

“We didn’t know that USAID was funding drag shows in Peru or whatever, you know, transgender operas in Colombia or whatever,” he said. “You know, it’s madness.”

Now, with Musk’s data-driven approach, Johnson sees an opportunity to uncover the truth and hold the government accountable.

“We’re going to be able to get the information. We’re going to be able to transform the way the federal government works at the end of this,” he said. “And that is a very exciting prospect. It is truly a revolutionary moment for the nation.”

Indeed it is. According to the U.S. Debt Clock, DOGE has already saved taxpayers over $132 billion. There is a proposal to return some of those savings to the taxpayers. Last week Musk endorsed an intriguing proposal from James Fishback, CEO of Azoria, called the “DOGE Dividend.” The idea involves using $2 trillion in projected savings from DOGE to issue $5,000 tax refund checks to nearly 79 million American families. Fishback argues this would not only compensate taxpayers for government waste but also help rebuild trust in government accountability.

Musk was so taken with the idea that he said he’d bring it up with President Trump. And Trump later indicated that he’s seriously considering the proposal. He outlined a potential plan to allocate 20% of DOGE savings directly to Americans and another 20% toward paying down the national debt.

Trump framed the initiative as a step toward fiscal responsibility and emphasized the need to reduce debt while ensuring taxpayers benefit from government savings. He echoed Musk’s sentiment that effective leadership requires intelligence, hard work, and, above all, genuine concern for the American people.

Possibly The Dumbest Example Of Waste DOGE Has Discovered (So Far)

Possibly The Dumbest Example Of Waste DOGE Has Discovered (So Far)

AP Photo/Jose Luis Magana

There’s something about being exposed that causes stupidity; a kneejerk reaction to push back against reality, no matter how obvious. As DOGE and President Donald Trump work to expose and fight government waste, fraud and abuse (how sad is it that they have to FIGHT Democrats to end those things?), more ways in which the federal government has been doing those things is coming to light.

As a result of this disinfecting glow of sunlight, people are losing their jobs. While that’s never fun, those jobs are simply unnecessary. Since Democrats have adopted a “If Trump is for it, we’re against it…whatever IT is” mantra, they end up looking ridiculous most of the time.

That’s what happens when you don’t think, you simply respond. It’s a super power Trump has, he can make his opponents metaphorically punch themselves in the face while defending some of the dumbest, most wasteful and corrupt spending human beings have ever conceived.

One of the dumbest and most hilarious cases of this very phenomenon was on display in a story in the Washington Post this week. It opens with this paragraph, “At California’s Yosemite National Park, the Trump administration fired the only locksmith on staff on Friday. He was the sole employee with the keys and the institutional knowledge needed to rescue visitors from locked restrooms.”

I have questions.

Why is there a locksmith on staff, as a locksmith, when you could just contract with one when needed? How often in your life have you said, “Damnit, why isn’t there a locksmith on staff?!” At the most, I’d say one time. But the odds are heavily in favor of never.

Next, why is this guy the only person with keys? Is that the source of his job security? “Fire me and you’ll never get into any building or room again, because I will destroy every key!” Doubtful, as other locksmiths exist, not to mention the fact that changing a lock isn’t all that hard.

Since that’s unlikely, why not just make more keys – make a lot of copies so park employees are lousy with them to the point that it doesn’t matter who is working or what day it is, every door can be opened? Because government is stupid, that’s why. The bureaucracy would rather pay a salary, benefits and fund a pension for someone who likely only gets called on once or twice a year, if that, than act in any way that could be confused with common sense.

That lack of common sense brings us to the last part of that paragraph. What “institutional knowledge” is required to unlock doors, and how often are idiots locking themselves in bathrooms? More than that, how do you lock yourself in a bathroom to the point of needing rescue from a locksmith?

If this is a problem at Yosemite worthy of having someone on permanent staff to address, maybe that person should have been ordered to change the clearly confusing, likely malfunctioning locks over the course of their employment so as to avoid the middle of the night calls to rescue people teetering near death from the fate of starvation in a public bathroom?

Are a disproportionately high number of potential Darwin Award Winners drawn to Yosemite? If they were, there was likely millions in government grants to study why.

This is just one example of “Things that would never be tolerated in the private sector” that fly in government because no one ever bothered to check that DOGE is exposing, the Post chose it because they thought it would elicit sympathy from their readers.

I promise you there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of examples of other things too stupid to believe that our government pays for because no one is accountable for wasting money or cares.

This is the system Democrats and Republicans created over the years, but only Democrats defend now. They wouldn’t run their family’s finances this way, and if they ran a company’s books the way they allow government to function they’d all be in jail.

Remember that the next time you have an argument with one of your liberal friends about how “evil” Trump and Elon Musk are. Of course, there’s a better than average chance you’d be having that argument through a bathroom door with your friend “trapped” inside as they await the locksmith’s arrival, which makes the whole conversation pretty easy to avoid.

Top O' the Briefing

Happy Monday, dear Kruiser Morning Briefing friends. Ephemesae was known to rage-whistle Flock of Seagulls B-sides when her blood sugar got a little wonky.

There's still gold in them thar hills, but it's running out.

The Low-T doyens of the Never Trump movement who've been turning vitriolic obsession into cash since 2016 are still cashing checks, which may surprise a lot of people. Sadly, there's still a lot of money to be made when any Republican wants to stab other Republicans in the back. That's been true for a long time but, as with so many things, it's gotten more intense since President Trump's first White House tenancy.

The standard sales pitch from the Never Trump Circus of Mental Unwellness is that all involved are motivated by the deepest, truest principles in the history of principles. They lie a lot for such principled people though. They spent all last year insisting that Trump was too dangerous to be near power again and that they were working hard to prevent his return to the Oval Office.

Poppycock.

The worst thing that could have happened to the professional Never Trump class would have been a Trump defeat. His victory gave them four more years of fear-mongering and slobbering love fests with CNN and MSNBC hosts. A lot of them will have time to write more books about how much Orange Mad Bad is harshing their mellow.

Because it's so early in the new Trump term, the Never Trump ugly mugs are trying to scare people about what might happen. That will probably work out for them for a couple of years. The longer President Trump is in office and none of their dire predictions come true, the slower the money will roll in.

They know that they're term-limited too, you can see it in their eyes. Over the weekend, Ben wrote about an MSNBC appearance by former CIA director and chief mean girl of the Never Trump movement John Brennan. The drama queen was whining about being on new FBI Director Kash Patel's "enemies list" and the disruptions to the mission or some such nonsense. Like so many of Trump's haters, Brennan knows that he's been whipped. Yeah, there's still the grift, but I get the distinct impression that it's difficult to enjoy it as much with Trump's very existence trolling them 24/7.

Over at RedState, my friend and colleague Teri Christoph wrote about the laughably named "Principles First Summit" in Washington, D.C. Here's her description of the gathering:

Across town, however, the vanquished remnants of the Never Trump movement gathered to collectively lick their wounds under the guise of a "Principles First" summit. The agenda included speeches from relics like John Bolton, Adam Kinzinger, George Conway and Chris Christie, and the audience seemed to be made up of establishment Republicans who were distraught that the party passed them by and was given new life by Trump and his supporters. Sounds fun, right?

That sounds more like a penance than a summit.

There are no doubt plans in the works for the Never Trump scam to be repurposed for the GOP's 2028 candidate. It's not going to work, however. No one inspires the intensity of emotion that President Trump does. They're already losing steam and there's not going to be any new anger for them to bring into their dysfunctional fold.

Watch an interview with any of the "principled" major players in the Never Trump movement and they don't even sound like they're buying their own spiel anymore. They felt that last year was their big shot to once again be movers and shakers in the GOP.. That gravy train has run off the rails, and the turncoats are crestfallen.

Fake principles don't bring many smiles to faces.

Oh Noes! NYT Columnist Warns People All Over the World Will Die Because Trump Wants to 'Break Things'

Oh Noes! NYT Columnist Warns People All Over the World Will Die Because Trump Wants to 'Break Things'

Photo/Alex Brandon

Before we get started, let's see a show of hands. Raise your hand if you think it's way past time for public (taxpayer-supported) broadcasting (PBS and NPR) to go the way of the dinosaurs.

Just as I thought: all hands, enthusiastically raised.

Is there any doubt? Other than on the left, I mean. As NewsBusters Executive Editor Tim Graham wrote on Thursday in a column titled "NPR Is National Public Relations for the War on Trump":

At the top of every hour, hundreds of taxpayer-subsidized National Public Radio stations in 50 states transmit leftist public relations, badly disguised as news. You can get talking points jammed in your ear on your rush-hour commute.

Nobody is allowed to question the concept of “systemic racism” on NPR. They’re deeply invested in that ideology. It’s why NPR favors describing race riots against cops as “rebellions.”

Left-wing media outlets wage war on Trump’s takedown of “diversity, equity and inclusion” campaigns, which are horribly named. The left doesn’t want any diversity or inclusion that allows any dissenting space for their opponents, and “equity” is a code word for discrimination in favor of the “marginalized” groups.

The half of the country that voted for Trump shouldn’t have to support this clearly hostile radio network with our tax dollars. Lambda Legal and all the other leftists should pony up for NPR’s supine press releases, since NPR’s “newscasts” aren’t diverse or inclusive enough for conservatives.

In addition, the ever-witty Louisiana Republic Sen. Johny Kennedy put it this way on Thursday (emphasis, mine):

President Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency is looking for fat to trim. As far as I’m concerned, this gravy train – this gravy train with biscuit wheels called the Corporation for Public Broadcasting – is the perfect example of a project the American people no longer need and should not fund.

I’m all for this, if that’s what these outlets want to do. But, I’m not for taking $500 million every single year and giving it to these stations (CPB) to the exclusion of everybody else. That’s immoral.

The same logic to end taxpayer funding also applies to PBS.

WATCH: Sen. Kennedy's Bottom-Line Take on Public Broadcasting Is LOL Hilarious and Spot-On

This takes us to the latest example of why U.S. taxpayers should, in effect, stand up en masse and scream: "We're mad as hell! And we're not going to take it anymore!"

New York Times columnist David Brooks is delusionally marketed (lied about) as the conservative half of the "PBS NewsHour" weekly Friday news recap, with Washington Post associate editor and MSNBC host Jonathan Capehart, clearly a left-winger.

However, as is the case with pretend-conservative Ana Navarro on ABC's ridiculous show, "The View," Brooks proves time and time again that his views are anything but conservative — including his irrational attacks (and lies) against President Donald Trump.

On Friday, Brooks declared — with a straight face, no less — that people of over the world will die because all Trump wants to do is "break things."

Host Geoff Bennett teed up Brooks by reading from one of his recent columns.

And you wrote about this [this] past week in a column, where you said that it's ‘the working-class communities that will continue to languish because Trump ignores their main challenges and focuses instead on culture war distractions,’ that people who voted for change want to see that change.

Brooks eagerly jumped on Bennett's comment like a hungry pig jumping on an acorn, demeaning Trump supporters in his usual smug style:

Yes, the people who voted for Trump had a good reason to. Like, high school-educated people die eight years sooner than college-educated people. High school-educated people, their kids, by sixth grade are four grade levels below college-educated people. They're much more likely to say they're lonely. They're much more likely to live in devastated communities without social capital.

The smug arrogance of Brooks was eclipsed only by the ridiculous generalization of Trump supporters as a whole, which is tantamount to conservatives positing that all Harris voters were illiterate people of color, living in urban areas devastated by drugs and violent crimes.

Brooks continued, pushing the notion that well-off conservative elitists use (lie to) uneducated, low-information conservatives to gain support.

So, if you had a populist government, they would have policies to address these serious issues. The Trump administration is not leading with that. They really don't have plans for any of this. And when you look at who's in the administration, it's obvious why. The president and Elon Musk are University of Pennsylvania graduates who are billionaires.

Pete Hegseth went to Princeton and Yale. J.D. Vance went to Yale. Stephen Miller went to Duke. These are the highly educated right-wingers. And I have been around these — all these people all my life. I used to be one. And there are two types. There are, one, people who believe in conservative governance.

And then there's the other type. They're just anti-left. They don't have a positive vision for conservative governance. They want to tear down the institutions that they believe the left controls. And so that's what they're doing. That's what Bush — that's what Trump goes after.

With all due respect, Mr. Brooks, that's a complete crock of crap. For example, when did it become mutually exclusive to be "anti-left" and a proponent of "conservative governance"? On the contrary, they go hand-in-hand.

PBS Waxes Idiotic, Claims Trump Win Proves US 'Acceptance of Authoritarian Leadership'

As for people dying all over the world because Trump, Brooks waxed ridiculous:

And the problem with that is that the pain is born by the woman in Namibia who's going to die of AIDS, the kid in Ohio who's going to die of cancer because NIH, medical research has been gutted. And so it's — F. Scott Fitzgerald put it well. Rich people are careless. They break things. And I think that's what's happening here.

Genius, huh?

The Bottom Line

Donald Trump has been back in the White House for just two months. The left is laughably whining about his administration not lowering grocery prices — after ignoring the reality for four miserable years that Bidenomics not only led to stubborn inflation; the Biden-Harris administration did zero to try to bring down consumer prices.

As for the rest of the world, Mr. Brooks, two words: "America First."
