Coddled To Death: Mental Illness, Illegal Aliens and the Democratic Party
If I could impart one bit of wisdom to you today, I hope that people who tell you they are anything – good, smart, honest, not selling you something, conservative, etc. – are the opposite. Truly smart people don’t have to tell anyone they’re smart, people just know. The same goes for funny people. The more someone insists they are something, the less likely they are to be that thing.
Do you know how I know Democrats are the party of compassion and caring? By now they insist they are all the time. It’s the same way I know they’re uncaring opportunists who’d dance on your grave if it suited their needs.
Nothing about how Democrats act shows any compassion for anyone; they operate on an “agenda über alles” basis. If death is useful to them, they’ll throw themselves on the metaphorical casket and scream like a lonely widow.
They don’t mean it, or else they would’ve shown at least some semblance of concern for the person while they were alive. What did any Democrat do for George Floyd while he was alive? The guy was a degenerate junkie criminal for years before he overdosed on fentanyl in police custody. Where was the love, or even the help? He lived his whole life in a Democrat corral, you’d think they would have helped. You’d be wrong.
But when he died, well, they all spoke about him like he’d saved their lives in Vietnam after they’d been best friends in high school. Floyd had 3 memorial services at a time when governments were forbidding everyone else from having any.
Democrats are always on the lookout for a death they can exploit. Not a death like that of Laken Riley, allegedly murdered by an illegal alien the Biden administration happily let into the country – expect the horrible tragedy of the University of Georgia nursing student to be memory-holed faster than any murder of a black child in any Democrat-controlled city. Democrats all have her blood on their hands, and none are more soaked than Joe Biden and Alejandro Mayorkas, and they couldn’t care less if you paid them to try.
Americans are suffering, and are being victimized and murdered by illegal aliens. Democrats welcome and encourage them to sneak into the country, and they are only concerned about it to the extent that it negatively impacts their election prospects. The inconvenient death? A clinical sociopath has more concern for a fly they’ve swatted.
But deaths they can use? They naturally have the picket signs for their riots already pre-printed, from a union shop.
Take the tragic case of “Nex” Benedict. We still don’t know how she died, but through divine intervention, Democrats know the why – because she was “nonbinary.” Most people couldn’t tell you what this is (no reason to, it’s fake), and there’s no way to recognize it in the wild, but that doesn’t matter; Democrats smell an opportunity and they aren’t about to let it slide by.
The 16-year-old died the day after a fight which Democrats assured the world was because of this nebulous “gender identity” she was delusionally embracing. But even she, in a discussion right after the fight, failed to mention that it had anything to do with that. She didn’t know the girls and threw water on them. There was no “history” of bullying, like we were assured.
Without knowing anything, the left-wing press writes pieces with headlines like, “Advocates, lawmakers link nonbinary Oklahoma teen’s death to anti-LGBTQ legislation and rhetoric.”
They “linked” it, did they? How? By simply declaring it to be. It’s not till paragraph 12 that you get anything from the Alphabet Mafia, and it involves the “gender-affirming care” descriptor as proof that Republicans caused this death. “The state is one of nearly two dozen to ban gender-affirming health care for transgender minors, and Republican Gov. Kevin Stitt last year signed an executive order directing state agencies to adopt narrow definitions of ‘male’ and ‘female’ that exclude trans people,” they write.
The refusal to allow children to undergo genital mutilation surgery is proof of something. They’re unclear because “Nex” is on video saying she wasn’t bullied.
When we actually find out the cause of death, expect the story to stick around, no matter the truth. The truth about Matthew Shepard – that he was killed over a drug debt by someone he’d had a sexual relationship with – didn’t stop his canonization as someone murdered “because he was gay.”
Democrats don’t let the truth slow them down.
They also don’t let the truth guide them.
Democrats are quick to claim that “trans kids have a much higher suicide rate than normal kids,” which may well be true. But these leftists insist that the higher suicide rate is because someone used the wrong pronoun or noticed they are really a man, no matter how far they tuck it back. But maybe, just maybe, a higher suicide rate is tied to denying them the mental health everyone, at least until a couple of years ago, recognized they were crying out for.
Rather than help, Democrats coddle these kids. These kids are struggling, not with how people they’ve never met before and will likely never see again are treating them, but with their existence. Something is off. Rather than find out why and try to fix it, progressives embrace it. Since this doesn’t address anything tormenting these kids, they aren’t made happy by it. Some go further down the road of instability because Democrats have removed the guardrails, and others try to kill themselves because all the indulgence in the world cannot be an impossibility into being.
I don’t have any proof of this because even the prospect of studying this is considered a hate crime and would be met with the same rage all the shelved data showing climate change to be a hoax is, causing it to be buried deeper than Jeffrey Epstein’s Democratic Party Pal’s list.
But the fact that they’re terrified of the prospect of a study, on the concept of treating gender dysphoria, tells you all you really need to know.
Democrats know the truth, but the truth, as is so often the case, doesn’t help them. So it has to be ignored or lied about. You don’t threaten people into silence if you aren’t afraid of what they’ll say.
Individuals are, and always have been, disposable to the political left. There’s no other way to explain their indifference toward the more than 100 million human beings murdered by adherents to their political philosophy in the last century, and that’s not counting people killed in their wars.
Rather than actually try to help people, they prefer to use the pretense of helping people as a weapon against anyone who challenges what they’re doing. That’s why they never actually solve problems, because if they did they wouldn’t be able to use the prospect of solving them in the future as the carrot they need to lead rubes further down the rabbit hole.
Democrats are coddling kids to death in the name of “tolerance” the same way they’re reintroducing segregation as “diversity.” Never believe what they say – use it as a weapon against them by juxtaposing it with what they’re doing and pointing out all the destruction in their wake. They’re not stupid, they’re evil. When you keep that in mind, the rest is easy.
