The scum among illegal aliens

Let’s revisit the 34-acre solar farm intended for the west side of Baker. Readers were informed of my perspective weeks ago; however, a news item revealed the “lost opportunity” involved. “New-wave reactor technology could kick-start a nuclear renaissance—and the US is banking on it” (Angela Dewan, Ella Nilsen, cnn.com).

“Off the Siberian coast, not far from Alaska, a Russian ship has been docked at port for four years. The Akademik Lomonosov, the world’s first floating nuclear power plant, sends energy to around 200,000 people on land using next-wave nuclear technology: small modular reactors (SMRs). This technology is also being used below sea level. Dozens of US submarines lurking in the depths of the world’s oceans are propelled by SMRs, as the compact reactors are known.”

These SMRs are smaller (railroad boxcar size) and less costly to build than large-scale reactors like the one at Diablo Canyon. Providing enough electricity for 200,000 people? Wouldn’t Red Bluff reap huge potential long-term income by providing electricity to surrounding counties via the existing grid?

While not feasible given our limited ability to finance such an installation, the NIMBYs would come out of the woodwork to say litigious “nays.” The folks in gilded offices, ensconced in cushy Sacramento sinecures, would dread being on the receiving end of phone calls from enviro heavy weights. They’ve already effectively, hypocritically shut down our ability to extract energy-producing fuels from under our own ground containing some of the world’s most plentiful resources.

These folks want us on diets: road diets, energy diets, non-meat diets, etc. They prefer 1) forced public transit; 2) us shivering through black/brown-outs, or forced thermostat reductions via exorbitant PG&E rates; 3) a meatless existence dependent for protein on…bugs (us, not them). Keep voting for Democrats; they’ve done such a bang-up job, right?

Here’s a charming little story about some new California residents; they “migrated” from the Empire State, New York, recently. We’re not just losing people to other states; we could have all kinds, a “diversity,” of folks coming here.

The “back story” sheds light on illegal immigration, “soft on crime” policies, and the “undesirables” among new arrivals. Over half a dozen illegal aliens were told by New York’s finest to “move along” and stop being publicly disruptive; a half dozen took offense and began beating the cops, even kicking them on the ground.

Their injuries required medical treatment. When scofflaws feel boldly empowered to get in a street fight with officers, you better be cheering for the cops if you value your physical safety in public places.

Long story short: Those charged with assault were released “without bail” under New York’s D.A. Bragg, a Soros-type, soft-on-crime prosecutor. Told “you’re free to go,” the illegal alien scum flashed the “double-barrel middle fingers” of contempt—contempt and disrespect for law enforcement, America’s legal system, and the citizens of this once-great nation.

Neither they, nor any of the millions of other illegals, will mark their calendars to show up for either their arraignment or their asylum hearings—these criminals hopped on busses to California. Some of them lived off of taxpayers’ largess in hotels, eating our food; they’ll maybe get free medical treatment per Newsom.

Don’t think that here in Gov. Gavin Newsom’s California they will have a life any harder, be treated less leniently, or have any risk of deportation in Newsom’s (effectively) sanctuary state. Extradition to face charges in New York? You must be joking.

Gov. “hair gel” Newsom was spotted shopping in a Target. While it’s good to support the merchants, his purchases probably failed to make up for the shoplifting he witnessed. He asked why the employees did nothing. Not recognizing “the Guv,” the worker blamed Newsom saying “Oh, the governor lowered the threshold, there’s no accountability.” Another girl said “we don’t stop (shoplifters) because of the governor.”

Newsom may feel scapegoated on that issue. However, it’s true that between gullible voters deluded into passing reduced sentencing measures, ideologically twisted district attorneys on a mission to reduce minority prison populations under a mistaken view that racism accounts for their imprisonment, and young ne’er-do-wells acting out a “message received” that “crime pays”—we pay for it via higher prices.

Then we have the garbled statement (at the First in the Nation Dinner in Columbia, S.C.) by our Chief Executive, the President, that retailers are “Ripping people off” and should just lower their prices, and calling Americans “suckers.” Are local Walmart, FoodMaxx and Raleys responsible for high prices? Or big spenders in D.C.

Apropos the recent presentation and testimonials on human trafficking, “Police Arrest 539 People in Large-Scale Sex Trafficking Sting in California,” (by Jason Walsh). While a Los Angeles story, our event’s sponsor, Empowertehama.org, served/liberated 16 human trafficking victims in 2022.

Texas’ actions, in spite of the Biden DHS efforts to keep the border wide open, have reduced illegal entries in one sector to 200 per week compared to the thousands per day previously. Democrats in CA and D.C. have put up big “green lights” for human trafficking, drug smuggling and cartel-driven illegal entries.
