Worst campaign promise ever? Hillary pledges to put people out of work if elected

Worst campaign promise ever? Hillary pledges to put people out of work if elected

Last night at a Democrat Town Hall, Hillary Clinton let voters in energy-producing states like Kentucky, Texas, Pennsylvania, Wyoming, etc. know that if they support her campaign she’ll reward them with a souvenir pink slip with her picture on it.
Keep talking, Hillary:
“I’m the only candidate which has a policy about how bring economic opportunity using clean, renewable energy as the key into coal country. Because we’re gonna put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business.”
“We’re gonna make it clear that we don’t want to forget those people. Those people labored in those mines for generations. Losing their health. Often losing their lives to turn on our lights and power our factories. Now,we’ve got to move away from coal. And all the other fossil fuels. But I don’t want to move away from the people who did the best they could to produce the energy that we relied on.”
In other words, she’s telling workers in fossil fuel industries she’s going to put their employers out of business but not to worry because a Solyndra reboot will come along to save them — until that goes bankrupt a few months later. Conversely, Hillary’s suggesting that fossil fuel industry owners should dig deep for the Clinton Foundation or they never know what could happen.
You might have noticed that Hillary spoke of our dependence on fossil fuel in the past tense: “The energy that we relied on.” She then got on her private campaign jet which doesn’t rely on fossil fuel but is instead powered solely by the energy produced from the burning of her Goldman Sachs speech transcripts.
