Urges Protesters to Seek ‘Justice’ for Trayvon Martin (DP: in case you missed this)

Urges Protesters to Seek ‘Justice’ for Trayvon Martin

Congress needs to investigate this.
The legal watchdog Judicial Watch released an audio recording Thursday of a Department of Justice staffer urging Sanford, Fla., city officials and the minority advocacy group Dream Defenders to seek justice for Trayvon Martin, because “if a community perceives that there’s something wrong in the black community, there’s something wrong.”
That comment fits well with the “tone” set by Attorney General Eric Holder, who described black Americans as “my people” when he explained his Justice Department’s decision to drop the case against the New Black Panther Party, which had engaged in voter intimidation in Philadelphia, PA in the 2008 election.
Dream Defenders is the same group that staged a sit-in at the Sanford Police Department, demanding that Police Chief Bill Lee be fired.
The audio recording is part of the trove of documents that Judicial Watch unearthed, proving that the Department of Justice played a behind-the-scenes role in organizing early protests against George Zimmerman.
The DoJ section involved, the Community Relations Service, is supposed to render impartial aid in disputes. It clearly took a side on the Zimmerman-Martin shooting.
