Occupy Oakland--MORE LEFTY VIOLENCE AND INSANITY

Admiral Akbar Alert: Occupy Oakland

Andrew Breitbart reports on another example of the occupy movement that will for some reason never make it to the MSM:
Our source, who is fearful of reprisal and has requested anonymity, says that KGO-TV’s Amy Hollyfield was accosted by a man who threatened her and used a racial slur:
“We shoot white bitches like you around here.”
According to our source, the Oakland Police Department was apparently called to the scene. Inquiries to the police, and to Hollyfield, which began at roughly 8 a.m. Pacific time yesterday, are still unanswered today.
Hmmm Oakland reporters life threatened, I would think that would be news, wouldn’t you?
Here is Ms. Hollyfield’s report from this morning, in which she mentions threats to KGO’s cameras, but not the alleged threat to her life.
Well even if one station isn’t reporting it I’m sure one of the other ones will:
That report was filed from roughly the same place, and at roughly the same time, as Ms. Hollyfield’s. According to our source, the other local stations are aware of the threat made against Ms. Hollyfield, but nothing has been reported about the incident as of yet.
Yeah nothing to see here, I’m sure the press would be all over it otherwise, oh wait…
A participant in the protest–who urged his Twitter followers to “punch a banker in the face” and called for the military to join the demonstrators–confirmed that the media had been banned from the Occupy Oakland site, but denied that the protest camp was unsafe.
Yup safe as it can be per the Oakland Tribune:
A restive calm resumed until about 3 a.m. the next morning when the man, who was upset that one of his co-workers in the kitchen had received two pieces of chicken instead of the allotted one, went on the rampage again. He knocked over several tables, then picked up a fork and brandished it threateningly against three women.
That’s when people started discussing other options. Should they call the police? Should they subdue the man on their own? Opinions were divided. “We do everything by consensus in here, and consensus is a difficult process,” Hughes said. “But eventually people talked and came to an agreement that we were going to kick him out.”
Yeah that’s what you do, why call the police when you can have a vote?
But that wasn’t the end of it. The man kept yelling. He nearly attacked Hughes again. Then he took a piece of tape and placed it across his own mouth. He left, but later that night he returned. He went to several tents, including the collective food tent, and started throwing things around. It was only when someone picked up a piece of wood and cracked him across the head that the ordeal ended.
Via Verum Serum who calls it a moment of realization.
You know I’m racking my brains and I can’t remember anything like this happening at the tea party rallies.
On Tuesday at game night I acquainted a friend of mine who gets his news from the MSM and BBC of the Occupy Boston/Boston Food Bank story. I hope he gets a chance to read this because I suspect the MSM & BBC will not be reporting on it anytime soon.
Reported or no, perhaps this will be the Admiral Akbar moment for the MSM the Democrats and Mika Brzezinski on the occupy protests:

Or if they won’t listen to Akbar maybe they will listen to Sheldon:

But I suspect not.
Exit question: If violence takes place during the occupy protests and the MSM doesn’t report it, does the GOP still use it during election 2012? (actually it’s not a question at all).
Update: When even Martin Basier is questioning things

Update 2: Instalanche and Glenn has a link to this story out of Occupy Boston:
According to a Boston police report, a disgruntled homeless man got into an argument at 6:15 p.m. with Occupiers because he “had nowhere to stay.” The man urinated on a tent and then allegedly pulled a knife on a group of 10 shocked protesters. No one was stabbed but several protesters later told cops they felt “threatened” by the incident.
Cops assigned to the site grabbed the man, searched him and found a hypodermic needle and a knife. The blade was seized, but the alleged victims would not provide their names to police, so the man was not arrested, police said.
Yup can’t be co-operating with the police, sounds too Tea-Party ish.
Via JammieWearingFool who notes:
Now they know how productive members of society feel. Taxpayers support these freeloaders, they don’t bring anything to the table, and you know what? It gets really frustrating.
Welcome to reality, folks.
Will the protestors get have their Admiral Akbar moment before the press and the democrats?
